Apart from the Calvinists who are about to point out that you and I can't earn our way into heaven through works
Faith without works is dead.

moses is nearing the end of his life but he has some unfinished business to take care of before he hands over to joshua.
he announces that he has had an instruction from god to take revenge on the midianites before he dies.

then i cant help but come to the conclusion that everyone who died (like 99.999% of humanity at the time) was doomed from the start.. if god directed noah to build a flotation device with very specific parameters, god must have known exactly how many people, animal species, plant etc, would be in it.. what if people actually listened to noah and thousands upon thousands turned up waiting to enter the ark?
god must have known that only so many people will listen and obey instructions.. no to mention that noahs message didnt really reach that many people.
at that time how many people could have heard it?
Genetically all man kind could come from 2 people.
And all dogs including poodles and chiwouwas came from 2 wolfs.
Thats according to the bible and according to Dawkins.
According to Dawkins all life came from a common ancestor.
Everything you wrote is so full of fail isn't not funny.
he's a guy and upon request, he gave me his e-mail address so he could give me a yes or a no to my invitation to join us tonight for dinner.. after i asked him if he'd like to join us, he snickered and said i don't know.
give me a couple of hours to think about it.
i asked him four hours later if he had decided, yet, but he hadn't even thought about it yet.. i said that it's not a test question, no right or wrong answer.. he asked where and i said it's a nice place uptown.. he said that he needed to think about it because of the dress up thing.. i said he didn't need to dress up, that just slacks and a nice shirt would do.. that was two days ago, and i haven't heard back from him, yet, although i did e-mail him so he could let me know.. i'm the wheels for the evening, so i needed to know so i could pick him up, or not.. does no answer (seems like avoidance) mean no, or is there some other excuse that might (wanna say rescue his ass but won't say it) be plausible?.
Yes, NVL, I'd go for the second TV, too.
Bingo. The trick is to skip the game the first time and watch the movie, thus dmonstrating your awesomeness as a boyfriend/husband/FWB, then say maybe a second TV for those rare events, like a golf major or football games, then go buy a bigger TV.

Cofty, so what we should do is develop a breeder/caste system where we take some already damned to hell adults, like you and me, and create a breeder system whereby women pump out babies to be slaughtered straight to heaven. Of course, they are doing gods work of creating new little angels and therefore get a pass into heaven themselves. You could take some filthy heathens like you and me and make us responsible for ushering the little souls into heaven. Of course, since WE are also doing gods work, we ALSO get a pass into heaven, but since we are also the ushers, we of course would have to be a lower caste than the breeders.
Everyone wins!

No actually Moses did not have it. He was the one who ordered the massacre of tens of thousands of babies in my OP
Don't forget it was Abraham that ordered penis mutilaion opening up the population bacterial infection and death. God loved his foreskins.

Ah...but if people only live because of you...then you still own it.
So my kids that are totally dependent on me owe me their life? What kind of sense does THAT make? None. Slaves that were dependent on their masters, so the masters had ownership of their life? Think about the implications.

NVL, I love ya dude. Heaven would be a crazy place with you. Hope you'll join me there.
Thanks dude. I have a fondness for you too. And you still should call me.

The did God have the right to take it back?
Nope. It wasn't his to take back. Once you give something to someone it is no longer yours.

Lets say that God DID kill men, women, and children in the past. Lets say that I tell God, "You're wrong."
Guess who is going to lose that battle?
Dear God, if you exist, you're wrong.
Hmmm.... sees like I win.
For there to be a "bad thing" there must be a "good thing" and where do we get this notion of good and bad? Morals.
Absolutely not. Not wanting to stub your toe has nothing to do with morals. Not wanting to lose your job has nothing to do with morals. Things that negatively affect a person and things that positively effect a person have not a whit to do with morals. Morals and ethics are codes of behavior, not desiring certains effects of behavior.
It may vary, though not as widely as you may think, but it is still there.
I agree that it is there, and it certainly varies far more than you think. It's still unseable in a large scale practical definition as you describe.

Well, I don't recall any group pf people that would concur with being killed and raped by another group.
That's a simple "I don't want bad things to happen to me". It's not morals at all.
I don't recall any group that would concur with being treated in any way other than what THEY would conside "fair".
That's also not morals. The definition of "fair" varies so widely as to be unseable.
