by notverylikely ini am putting together some things to bring up when the elders talk me (i got ratted out for being apostate), so i need some info on the following.
i am putting some of this together myself, you you folks here seem that have that stuff handy .... - list of babylonian kings on the cd (which articles) to show 587 is the date the list gets you to.
- article that the wt wrote saying that if you study the bible on your own you will turn apostate (i seem to recall it, but not sure if it exists).

Like Obi-wan said...the truth greatly depends on your point of view...
It takes more faith to believe in something like evolution than it does to have faith in the Bible.
I suppose that depends on what you know. Don't project what you are thinking onto everyone else.
If Jesus does not exist and did not die for our sins, then we are helpless, hopeless, and lost for all time.
The lord helps those that help themselves.
There are too many things that the Bible got right that it could not have gotten right unless it was inspired for me to just throw it all away.
Such as?
They bring up supposed contradictions.
There are many and real.
For example, if evolution is true then how to you get information from non information?
Can you clarify how that relates to evolution or abiogenesis.
Accepting the idea that matter can come from non matter, then how does information systems come from no info systems?
Those two things are related in the way that you think.
So with that being said, if one was to look at proof of a lack of God from a purely scientific point of view, there is not enough evidence to support it.
You can't prove a negative.

About "apostate" websites
by Sojourn injust throwing some thoughts out there, from what i've noticed, and interested to see what you all think: agreeing and opposing opinions are welcomed!.
i feel that the "apostate" sites i've run into have a lot of good information on them that i am thankful to have found.
my eyes would not have been opened without them.

Call from elder
by XPeterX ini received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..
