I stopped being overcome by anxiety as soon as I realized the truth about the WT. They know good and well they create so much anxiety for JWs with the whole Satan bit, Armageddon, not to mention the fact that Jehovah just sits around reading your thoughts all day! That made me pray constantly because I was always thinking something not good.

Ridiculous reasons that "this MUST be the truth"!!!
by stillstuckcruz inever since i began researching about mind control, the organization, etc....i've really been paying attention to the actions and comments of the members of the congregation.
i've been noticing how so many people(usually the sisters) make up such ludicrous statements of how "this must be the truth"!.
for instance, the other day a brother at our hall who is only his early 40's was admitted to the hospital because of a bad infection.

Sigh. They make me so sick with their bullshit "should have been at the meeting stories." I personally knew a JW family in Ohio where the little girl was crossing the street with the family when she was struck by a passing speeding car and later died in the ER. Yeah they don't tell that story, the one where the little girl would still have been alive if they had skipped that stupid meeting. When bad things happen to JWs when they are doing "theocratic" activities, then it's just "time and unforeseen occurrence."

Such a tragedy: My cousin and her BF died in a apartment fire in Kansas...

the batteries in their smoke detector was not in...there were no batteries in their smoke dectators.
her mom couldnt talk for two days.
