Teet - I will have to agree. This new "generation" explanation is so bizzare that I wonder if somebody was high when they wrote it.

when you look back over the 130 year history of wt, what is the most bizzare/ridiculous/hilarious/absurd teaching or quotes that you have found?.
one of the ones i find hilarious is during the beth-sarim affair, rutherford announced that the world was laughing and mocking them because they don't believe the resurrection is going to come to pass when they said it was.
rutherford went on to say in effect "we will show them when people start coming back from the graves"... lol.

what the hell?.
i started reading coc a couple of weeks ago whenever i get a chane to hide out, i'm into chapter 7, great information.. last night i decided to listed to a couple of mp3's i found at freeminds.. if i wasn't sure already, they put the nails in the watchtower's coffin, especially gregerson's expose on his study.
similarly as gregorson, i too set out to try and boost my faith and prove to myself that i had "the truth".
My former KH only had 3 volumes of Studies in the Scriptures. After I woke up and was still attending, it was a favorite pastime to slip into the library and read about the Pyramids being "God's Stone Witness"..
LOL

there is a sister in my former kh that has helped over 100 people to baptism.
she is a genuinely nice person, and a very low key person.
she is pretty much fairly quiet and keeps to herself.
bob1999 - she would have a long road ahead of her, for sure!

i'm about 80 percent through the book "a history of the end of the world" by jonathan kirsch.
i have enjoyed it immensely.
it focues exclusively on the book of revelation: who wrote it, the context of what was happening in the times in which it was written, along with the way revelation has affection generations over a span of 1900 years.
OTWO - I never realized until reading this book that Revelation almost didn't make it into the bible canon.

the one mistake we all made.
and the january 15, 2008 watchtower.
page 24 the governing body makes the following statement: .
FYI: Don Cameron's book Captives of a Concept changed my life. I remember when I first read it this past December 2009. I got a funny feeling inside. Then and there it hit me - that I have been living in a fantasy world. What a journey it has been since that day.

did anyone else notice that in the watchtower its bringing out jesus is the mediator only for the 144,00. and where did they get it that jesus didn't partake of the emblems?!?!
it's crazy how true that scripture is that states that satan blinds the minds of the unbelievers.
but what i don't understand is do you think the governing body is doing this type of stuff like putting stuff in the watchtower like this on purpose since they have the issues only for members of the congregration?
What article is this?
