"It is our Personal Responsibility to Turn In People who are Sinning"
by WalkTall inat the last two meetings i have been to, two brothers mentioned in their parts that we have a personal responsibility to turn in someone we know who is involved in wrongdoing.
they both said we need to do this out of love and because we could also lose our own relationship with jehovah if we fail to do so.
it struck how odd this all is.

I Went Back To the Kingdom Hall
by Clint Bussey inlast year i went back to the hall while even though i was disfellowsipped 9 years ago and never intend to get reinstated.
i went back to talk to all my friends and relatives and blantantly ignore the disfellowshipping policy.
i chose to go to my jw parents hall where they are in "good standing" and regularly attend meetings as they ingnore their son.

Interesting they won't allow Clint in the Kingdom Hall because he decided not to follow the religion his parents choose for him. But, it's just fine to allow men who get off on feeling up (to say the least) little boys and girls. I fully agree with everything Clint has done. If anything it will make people think . . . . . especially the kids and teens in the congregation.

Elders wife says being upset with pedophiles in the hall being the same as having to eat sauerkraut and wieners.
by life is to short inthis couple in our hall an elder and his wife gave us a anniversary gift.
it is a wall hanging that says "as for me and my household sister life is to short and hubby will worship jehovah forever.".
i felt i should send her a thank you card even though i hate the gift.

I'm still trying to get over that lame gift with the wording that makes no sense whatsoever. Anyways, don't these stupid people realize that the Kingdom Halls are a playground for child molesters. Do they think these guys are at the meetings to enjoy the two hours of lectures?

Why does the WTBS hate sex so much?
by highdose innow i know they try to control everything and pretty much ban anything.
but sex seems to be somthing they can't stand and would like to get rid of completly if they could.
so many articles and so much conusel about not having sex or having anything to do with sex from any angle at all.

nightmares after leaving
by myownlife inhello everyone, i have been reading the different topics and haven't seen this discussed..... i was raised in the 'truth' and decided when i was 19 this was not for me...but unfortunately it took years after that to finally make the clean break.
during that time and up until about a year ago, i was having strange and disturbing nightmares..it finally came to a head when i dreamed that i cussed out the elders in the congregation i had left.,..woke up in a sweat but felt great!
has anyone else experienced this?

I've had some reoccuring dreams: 1. That I'm back with my old friends at the KH and no one seems to remember I'm df. 2. Was tricked into going to a 4-day District Convention. (Those conventions were some of my worst childhood memories. Feel for the kids that were stuck at the week-long hellventions!) 3. For some reason I'm at the hall and topless. Go into the bathroom and cover up with a queer headscarf used when "sisters" had to conduct the field service arrangements and prayer. LOL! I remember being a little kid seeing that for the first time and thinking there's a lot of really weird things about the KH!

Ridiculous Talk Given By CO
by minimus inmy mother told me of the co giving a talk and telling everyone to get their hankies out because they would be sure to cry, which evidently some did.. a 5 year old boy was dying in the hospital and his parents were by his bedside.
he was drifting in and out of consciousness and then he opened up his eyes and asked his mother if he was a catholic.
the mom told her son he was not.

*** Ummm . . . yeah ok. So the gist of this heartfelt story is that this little boy will make it into the paradise, but not before millions of other 5 year olds are slaughtered at Armageddon. I feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

Ok. Let's fast forward this wonderful experience just a bit. The bus driver starts attending meetings with his family and is treated like a rock star. He and his wife get baptized and their experience is shared at the end of every convention with lots of tears and bursts of applause. The wife decides to become a regular pioneer and kids become home schooled. Wife and MS pioneer make return visits to a local motel and get reproved. Bus driver husband starts to doubt the religion and all the hypocrisy, speaks to close friends about his concerns. Friends turn him into the elders and he gets bullied. Still attends the Kingdumb Hell to try and keep his family together, and gets the cold shoulder from all of the A-Listers. One daughter marries an 18 year old pioneer who cleans doctors offices part-time. The other young daughter marries a 60 year old elder who's wife died 6 months earlier. The bus driver decides to ram his big city bus into the Kingdumb Hell . . . . .
