OH MY GOD!
I had the WEIRDEST dream a few nights ago!!
I dreamed that I woke up and I was in a giant bed and sleeping to my left was my two best friends, both JW's and now married to each other, and to my right was Neil Patrick Harris. I am apparently camping with all of them. And we are sharing a cabin, and apparently a bed. So then, next thing I know, Doogie Howser and I are getting it on, but we have to be very careful to not jiggle the bed or giggle. Anyway--no need to get into details, let's just say Doogie knows his bidness. We just finished, when my best friend, the wife, leaps up...rips the sheets off us and says to her hubby (my other best friend) I know they are having sex. Of course we have finished and give them a line that we were sleeping the whole time she must have been dreaming.
It's now morning, so Doogie and I go talk a walk. We have a long conversation about how screwed up the JW's are. (Apparently we're a couple??) We're throwing giant pieces of red glitter (we are talking five inches in diameter) into a river while we talk. We watch the fish swim up and try to eat them. The sun is shinging so bright I am squinting and love watching the green ripples on the fishes body, and the red glitter flash as they float to the bottom of the river. We get in a fight because he doesn't think I love him enough, or act like I do I guess.
I chase after him, and next thing I know we are getting it on again. (Yes even in my dreams I am horny horny wench)
Next thing I know we are back in the cabin, and he wants to walk into the Kitchen naked. I tell him, "NO YOU CAN'T -- then they'll know for sure we had sex!" Then he tells me I am such a prude. Before I can convince him not to my parents open the door to the bedroom. See Mr. Naked Patrick Harris, and me with a bed sheet wrapped around me like a Toga. I managed to blurt out, "It's not what you think" and then I woke up.
So apparently I still have sex issues, and apparently I still think I need to hide everything from my parents (which I guess I do). I have NO IDEA why I picked to have a sex dream about Doogie Howser since I have never really even thought of him as hot. I don't know why the glitter bit was so vivid either--very bizzare.
I wonder if I bought a book on dream meanings if they would have a whole section on "Sex Dreams about Doogie Howser"?
Yikes!!

Sheesh Tale!!! No cable OR comedy clubs--what rock do you live under??
Lewis Black is great--he's on the Daily Show every wednesday--(not that you have cable! ) He is a lot of current events type humor--HILLARIOUS stuff! He does have some CD's available but I have never heard them, I have only seen him in person once. http://www.lewisblack.net/
Dave Attell is also on Comedy Central--he has a show called Insomniac, which he has a DVD out of-the best of, and you can probably rent it at the video store. Mr. No Cable!
http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/insomniac/
Maria Bamford is orginally from Duluth Minnesota--WOOO MINNESOTA! But she also has a 1/2 hour on Comedy Central that they play every once and a while. She is awesome! I have gotten to see her a couple times now in person. Her voice alone is hillarious!!
Laura Kightlinger was on saturday night live one season. Blink to fast and you might miss her. She has several specials on comedy central and HBO.

Nick Swardson is also from Minnesota, but also has a special on Comedy Central. (Dude you so need cable!!) His bit about what he's going to be like when he gets old is HILLARIOUS!

Dane Cook...yet another comedy central comic. He does have several audio cd's out too if your interested
http://www.comedycentral.com/standup/central/detail.jhtml?p=/comedians/c/dane_cook.xml
Stephen Lynch sings really wicked and evil songs--it's no wonder why I love him so much. I have one of his cd's.

BIG IT UP 4 Big Tex & Nina...!!
by ScoobySnax inoooh-er i came over all american-ified there for a minute........ .
sometimes online, someone, or some people come across as just thoroughly "decent chaps" (thats more british) they are rare types.
i've been here just over a year and have posted some funny old stuff, sometimes when i'm angry, sometimes when i'm sad, other times when i feel critical about this forum, and sometimes some crap (as i'm sure some will remind me of) sometimes when i felt alone or worried, and lastly sometimes (coz i'm running out of sometimes) because i'm not sure where i'm headed.. throughout chris and nina, when i look back at past posts, have been kind and patient with me, particularly when i started being more honest with myself and the forum.

Violins in rock music?
by blacksheep inso the dixie chicks are abandoning country for rock.
apparently because they're not appreciated or understood by the country music industry and fans.
didn't we have some sort of post-anti-bush discussion about how they were making more money since their ill-fated comments?

It's possible, and probable--that people who don't listen to country music, rock fans, bought the Dixie Chicks record after the incident, who otherwise wouldn't give them the time of day. That was my experience. I don't listen to country at all--but I wanted to hear them for myself.
And there are plenty of Violins in rock music. I point you to Bittersweet Symphony by Oasis. One of my favorite songs.
