I agree because
Clingy could mean 'it's GO time!' ;) or it could mean she doesn't feel good
or....clingy could mean insecure. Depends on the time and place.
i'm just curious as i'm on the outside looking in when it comes to relationships, yet i recall undercover explaining to me a year or so ago on another thread how his wife was clingy one morning before he went to work.
it made me wonder as someone who's single, what do you feel when you need to be somewhere and your significant other is clingy at the moment?
or when your out and about and he/she is clingy, is it flattering, irritating?

don't ever forget:.
1.how the christian religion behaved when it held all the power of the state along with the moral provenance.
men were not free to suggest.
SD said why do I feel I got intellectually dunked on!? LOL we just got posterized!
Terry I enjoy your comments too, gives a lot of food for thought.
how do you feel about the treatment?.
They treat me like I left them. They are sad because they view me as dead already. Fact is, I've tried to include them but they won't do anything with us. They won't even watch the boys in their baseball, basketball or football games. "We have left J_____ and they must stick close to their father." Direct quote from mom.
How do I feel? At first, sad. Then I was mad. Now I simply don't care. I don't want their poisonous attitudes around my boys. Until THEY change, they will reap the consequences from being in a cult.
i knew a few jw children who were beaten by their parents for various non-performance issues e.g.
not remembering scriptures, not giving talks .... did this happen to you?.
YES! My brother and I both used to get taken to the back and were beat in the bathroom because of the following reasons:
1) We didn't turn to the scripture in the Bible as soon as it was mentioned from the stage
2) Not raising our hand during the Watchtower Study
3) Only raising our hand for the first question and not for additional comments (secondary)
4) Commenting in the first few paragraph and then not raising hand again in the next few paragraphs
5) Talking to each other, laughing at each other
6) Being drowsy and falling asleep or nodding off because that meant we weren't paying attention
7) If we had to go to the bathroom during the meeting, because we should have went before the meeting
8) Not looking at the speaker during the talk
9) We even got into big trouble if we only talked to kids before and after the meeting....we were supposed to talk to older people too
Yeah it sucked! My dad and mom were very outspoken about how others in the hall should be raising their kids. Dad was an elder who wanted to be a C.O. and mom was a pioneer who wanted to be an elder. My brother and I were trained to be elders and bethelites...everything was going according to plan....Until I said "I don't believe it anymore."
One time a few years ago the hall I went to had 3 memorials that were going to be held the same night. This made the last Memorial service start @ 10:30. I had young kids, was also an elder at the time. I was against having such a late memorial. It was on a Friday night, so I asked could we just have it the next day before sundown...cause I guess technically that was the same as having it at 10:30 at night. They couldn't believe I had asked such a thing.
Don't know what that has to do with the OP but I figured it was a blank slate...:)
what if the brothers and sisters at a cong ran into bad luck and couldnt afford to pay for a while.
what happens ?.
yes i know about the menlo park thing in california, but this is a slightly different case..
I've always wondered that too!!
Can't take em to court, right?
SBC - my brother did the same. We were close too.
Phineas says, "Ferb! I know what we are gonna do today!!!" LMAO
NC - I can't forget that one. I think my dad burnt that drama forever into my brain...."It's just a little thing..." "It's Zimri...he's with a MIDIANITE WOMAN...HE'S TAKING HER INTO HIS TENT" Phineas (not to be confused with Ferb) (if you have kids you'll understand) grabbed a lance....Screaming "And the scourge was halted" right after he pierced them through.
I was young and that was considered good entertainment on every car trip we had!
SMH
That OP is an excellent question!
My wife and I were talking about something similar just that the other day.
The nation had to kill Achan and his family in order to start winning battles again?? (Is it just me, or does that seem like a sacrifice?)
It seemed like back then your life was totally in the hands of someone else. I told her, I hope I would have packed my family up and left. The life of anyone didn't seem to matter too much. You did this....You die! You do that....You die! Someone sins secretly who you don't even know....You die! It seems it would have been better to be on your own away from the craziness!
