  they taught me to think for myself.. yes, you read that right, and no i'm not being sarcastic.

  if i had walked into the church down the street, i might not ever have walked out.

  i'm sure the doctrines are easier to swallow, and the freedoms are greater.

  my son got suspended from school for fighting.

  not just fighting but choking another boy during their fight.

  he started it in anger over something the other boy did, but none of that actually matters.

  i would just like some opinions on something that seems strange to me.

  there is a man at my sons' school who comes every day to pick up his daughter.

  he has always been friendly with me, and i am friendly back, which is fine.

  Supernatural, Season Five

  okay, so i confess to loving the tv series, supernatural.

  i'm not all big into the whole angel/demon/armageddon theme (and yes, i recognize the irony that the past two seasons has mainly been about this theme).

  i love the show because i love to watch the humor and the dynamics in the relationship between the brothers.

  Current science on the creation of the universe?

  i was hoping people could tell me what the current scientific views are on the universe.

  do scientists believe it had a beginning, such as the big bang, or that it is infinite - no beginning/no end, etc.

  etc.. my husband told me that he thinks the current view is that the universe is slowing down?

  this is the first time that i ever refused to go the memorial.

  usually i make excuses or fall back on the 'maybe'.

  in fact, i have never stated an opinion that differs with anything that a jw at my door says.
