i have read that up to 67% of all jw's leave the religion when they come of age.
so i wish i could know why the others stay.
in your opinion, what keeps them in?
There is a Christian religion, that does not believe in Hell, and the Trinity,and the immortal soul, but it also does not believe in the Devil, Demons, or Rulers in Heaven. They do not tell about Jehovah. And they might do things, that are done by the World of mankind. They believe that Jesus is going to come back on the Earth.
Jehovah's Witnesses have hope, as S.Morley asked. Otherwise, they might leave, if they did not have it.

Contrary to what leavers think, God likes to have a unified people. He had the Nation of Israel, then the Christians, who believed the SAME thing.
The first Christians believed in things that did not happen, like Jesus's Kingdom coming to Jerusalem. The Bible speaks of living on the Earth. That was where Adam and Eve were going to live.
If Jehovah's Witnesses leave, they just go into the world of Heaven or Hell Christendom. Or beliefs that are not based on the Bible.
There are sad failures on here, that could not hack the work of being Elders

i was born and raised in it.
my father was physically and mentally abusive to my siblings and i. he was inactive from the meetings and service for much of my life.
Sorry to hear you are upset. If something is premeditated, to certain degree, then that might be why they disfellowshipped. Otherwise, they could have announced it as being reproved, because people knew.
Some are not associated with outside of meetings or service, if they are doing something wrong. This is called marking. Otherwise, they should be more involved with you.
Try and come back to the meetings, and pray to God. God forgives. Serving Him would help you. People in Jehovah's Witnesses have imperfections.

Titus, you said they couldn't cope with his Knowledge. Yes, i noticed that, when I checked, afterwards. You also said ,they parroted it from the wt. I was impressed they talked about the Bible. They didn't speak like they were parroting it. And you said you were shocked. You said they even didn't know everything. I showed that they were misrepresented in the article. He said they weren't in harmony, but they were. It doesn't matter about sheep leaving the sheep pen. Not everyone that dies, would go straight to Heaven. Surely, they could leave one pen ,and go into another pen,in a large field. D.Baker also used brackets, to interpret. [ ] . He mentioned they said" Body of Christ". Titus, I am a Witness. Why did you say they disfellowshipped him, because he had too much information? That is Not what a Witness/ Ministerial servant would say.
