A group of people in one religion will treat with skepticism and ultimately reject the assertions and beliefs of another group of a different religion. But they never stop to think and question their own irrational beliefs. Lunacy.

I'm going back:
1. To write "Satan" on the back of each and every time slip.
2. To make everyone uncomfortable by keeping my goatee and having a regular share in the door-to-door work.
3. To wear a pure white linen suit to every meeting.
4. To repeat the process of making the elders crazy by frequently asking hard questions expressing doubt about WT doctrine, then allowing them to neurotically put forth much effort in adjusting my thinking.
5. To raise my hand to answer every single paragraph during the Watchtower Study. And whenever I am called upon to answer, I say, "the paragraph brings out", then I read outloud the entire paragraph verbatum.
6. To stand in the back of the Kingdom Hall during the entire meeting claiming to have a bad back.
7. To stand faithfully at the entrance of the Kingdom Hall before the meeting starts to greet each and every JW with a creepy smile and a limp fish handshake after having applied a fake rash makeup effect all over my hands.
8. To randomly stare at members during the meetings raising my finger to my lips in a shushing gesture when they haven't made a sound, then point to the speaker on the platform.
9. To use "Well, I am not the Presiding Overseer, but . . . " at the beginning of every conversation I have with a JW.
10. To stand next to the World Wide Work contribution box rocking on my heels, and clear my throat audibly to every publisher picking up their magazines.
11. To wear a speedo to all the congregation picnics and softball games.

POLL/SURVEY- Why Did You Leave The Organization of JW's?
by PublishingCult inwhy did you leave the organization of jehovah's witnesses, and/or why are you contemplating leaving the organization of jehovah's witnesses?.
i've tried to boil it down to the most likely answers based on all the reasons i have heard over the years from xjw's.
a. because the watchtower bible & tract society does not have the truth.. b. because i had a personality conflict with other members of the organization.. c. because i discovered that the wtbts was not being honest or forthcoming about its history.. d. because serving jehovah was too difficult and i just wanted to be worldly and do wicked things.. e. because the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have proved to be false prophets.. f. because i found just cause to disagree with erroneous jw teachings.. g. because the governing body and/or elders were hypocritical.

What's the difference between the invisible enthroned Jesus and no Jesus?
Well "no Jesus" obviously means that he does not exist.
BUT, an "invisibly enthroned Jesus" now, THAT means that he DOES not exist.

May 22, 1969 Awake! promises "you will never grow old" - Creative Writing
by Mad Sweeney inthe year is 1969. faithful followers of the watchtower society are gearing up for the imminent end of the system of things just as they had been for the previous ninety years.
a young witness named andrew is trying to decide what to do with his life.
andrew is a smart kid and he has an entire lifetime ahead of him.

My brother, one of the thousands who grew up in the organization of JW's who was promised that he would never grow old in this system of things. He was highly intelligent, but shunned higher education to serve as a pioneer.
He was baptized at 15 years old, confident that he could hold out and be faithful to the Watchtower Society for "just a little while longer", plagued by the shame and guilt of his innate homosexuality, hoping that the new system would come soon, as they said it would, and overcome what he was taught was a terrible sinful state.
He died at 44 from heart failure, a broken, sad, disappointed man, still relatively young with many good years ahead still. He turned to drugs to deal with the self-loathing inflicted upon him by the WTBTS. He was never able to reconcile his inner conflict and belief that homosexuality was wickedness, and turned it all inward.
The new system never came as promised. He prayed intensely that Jehovah would help him be strong until the end, but Jehovah never lifted an ounce of the burden He himself had put upon my brother.
This is just one story of how WT lies destroy lives.

There once was a drunkard at Bethel
Who reeked as if tanked up on ethyl
Fancied himself “Judge”
And Scripture he’d fudge
No truer than Hansel and Grethel
He thought, what’s the harm in a few lies?
Peddle my books! Were his outcries
Exhorted J-dubs, now peddle my pubs!
Advertise, advertise, advertise!
His mansion he dubbed Beth Sarim
Debauched, he kept his own harem
Four princes, two Caddy’s, too set was this fatty
So chill with a tall glass of aurum -

9. An intriguing question to consider is, Why has no obstacle, not even satanic opposition, been able to stop the forward movement of the Kingdom-preaching work? To answer that question, we need to look back to the first century C.E.. After all, we modern-day Witnesses of Jehovah are continuing the work that started back then.
