  so awhile back, during our last circuit overseer visit, vic and i decided to bite the bullet.... there seemed to be very little support for the mid-week lunch plans for the co and his wife, so we signed up to host.

  we definitely didnt want it to be awkward, so we invited a few others along, as a nice little group affair.

  they were excited, and offered to do the cooking, so i said i would play along.. just some background.... this particular co is kind of a tool (big surprise right?

  trying to convince my wife not to confess...

  during our engagement, we fooled around and touch each other down there.

  it's not a "tap" but definitely is not "stimulation".

  i tried to convince my wife, who, after 5 years of marriage, strangely felt guilty all the sudden, that its not do called porneia.

  Before you do ANYTHING.....look at the October 1972 Kingdom Ministry Question Box.

  As a former long time elder, I can tell you this is the 'get out of jail free' card....

  In the late 2000's they were sending CO's around with this reference.....and I'd already used it several times the prior decade.....

  Read it with your wife.................do NOT go to the elders...with ANYTHING

  April 2014 WT is up, more attacks on career and unbelieving family!

  here are some highlights from the magazine.

  the first article, "imitate the faith of moses", teaches how moses didn't remain in pharohs court, they then skillfully spin getting a decent paying job and career as equaling "enjoyment of sin", and how those who have "enjoyment of sin" will die at armageddon with everyone else who enjoys their job.

  here are some quotes from the article.... "when tempted to engage in sinful conduct, ask, what future do i want for myself?....

  a friend of mine recently had his co visit and in the elders meeting the co out-right asked the question: how are the friends doing in your cong.

  as regards pursuing higher education?

  the co continued...you know in view of all the counsel from the slave regarding the dangers.

  Higher education.....in fact, ANY education....is the most damaging thing to Jehovah's Witnesses.

  Once the mind opens up.... it is flooded with common sense that is often difficult to dismiss.

  i think there are many that stay in the religion simply because of family/friends considerations.

  i thought the kingdom ministry feb 2014 had a couple interesting things in it:.

  1. a short talk encouraging the jw sales force to publicize the jw.org website at every opportunity.. 2. do not put out bibles on your table displays keep them hidden underneath.

  i thought they were so p-p-p-p-proud of their new nwt??.

  i am not sure if this is the correct heading to ask, but, does anyone know of a certain c.o.

  based out of lubbock, tx by the last name of morrison?.

  i know very little about him other than he is reportedly a very arrogant guy with "little man" syndrome.. any info?

  what made you realize it was time to go?

  i've been having health problems for the last few years and instead of any help, i'm listed as spiritually weak and of course associations is only my kids and husband.

  all the good jw's have moved to other congregations and are doing well.

  You don't owe them anything....nothing. They only have as much power over you as you let them have....

  Tell them you just need some alone time and you're 'in prayer with Jehovah'..... don't offer anything else.
