He could have been DF'd just before the flood,...
DF'd? Now what would an old person do to get df'd? Apostacy?

according to my book of holy fables (gen 5:27), noah's greatgrandpa methuselah died aged 969 years, in the exact same year noah floated away to a damp new world in a box full of tame animals.
but the bible does not say that he was among those who died in the flood.. according to bible mathmatics, adam was alive when methuselah was born making methuselah the only human link between adam and noah.. so what happened to poor old methuselah?
did jehovah, out of respect, wait till the old boy carked it before having it piss down on the rest of humanity?

Soooo...lets think about this.
The last time I went to a Memorial, I was df'd. But I wanted or thought I wanted to be among Jehovah's loving kindness.
So I went....I was stepped over by the elder handing out the Wine and bread...thus not even getting the honor to pass it on to the person next to me. Which was my 9yr old daughter. She also didn't get to hand it off. The elder actually stepped in front of us...and handed it to the person past my daughter.
I felt sick.
Last Memorial either of us ever went too....My daugher will soon be 29.
But...if I get an invite on Craigslist...

I think one of my cats ate a bird...thus blood. I doubt she'll make it though Armagedon. The other cats stay in the house, so I'm pretty sure they're safe.

well folks,.
i guess i'm officially old.
got my first social security check in the mail and can deposit it tomorrow.
My husband turns 65 this year. I've already signed him up for Social Security. But we opted to wait until Jan of next year to start receiving the money. They told him that way he can get the full amount he's entittled to and continue to work as much as he wanted.

I wonder how you got so special. I checked my PM's and there was no young man offering to share his money with me.

after more than 20yrs without a relationship....after more than 5yrs without hearing a word from her, i called.. out of the blue, i just called.. me: hi, mom, it's me lisa.
mom: oh, hi.. me: well, it's been a long time, i just wanted to check and see how you and dad were.. mom: we're fine.. the conversation ranged from, the weather, my husband, my children and grandchildren, (whom she's never met) my animals, gardening.
we talked about how dad was doing now, (after a stroke) how he walks with a cane, and uses an electric wheel chair when they go to walmart.
Hmmm....something special, good question Quandry. I can't think of anything.
I know I have lots of childhood memories that I'd like to ask about and family history, I'd like to ask about. I did find out that she started memopause about my age. The explains some things that I was wondering about.
Thank you all for the encouragement. My husband and daughter were shocked when I called them and told them I had called my mom. My daughter said she was going to be on Spring Break next week and since I got a nice reception, that she might give her a call.
I'll keep ya'll posted on how or if thing progress.
