I do have a question. Did they have any problems with you recording the prayers? When I was a kid my dad would record the assemblies for the ones (lucky famlies) that couldn't come but he always turned the recorder off before the prayer would start. I didn't know if there was a reason for that or just his own rule.

because of slumping and catatonic attendance, jws have unveiled a new convention program to attract and entertain their 6 million devotees.
this summer's program will be held in themeparks, and unveil the ride borg assilimator (seen below).
here in north carolina, usa a day-pass will get you a normal 3-day program "download" via subliminal messages while you enjoy the thrills of the roller-coaster.

my name is pinned blouse because once i was wrongly df'd and i no longer attended the meetings, i noticed all my blouses had pin holes in them where i fastened safety pins in them to make sure i was always "modest" lol.
mind you i do not have large boobies but i did not want to "tempt" the brothers.. .

And I never pinned my blouse. I never thought about it stumbling brothers. I just knew from early on that I could sell more mags. if I showed a little cleavage.. Although I did get counseled once for wearing a push up bra.

i asked my husband for a divorce yesterday.
after he threw a plate full of food and a cup of coffee it went pretty well, especially after he left, but came back four hrs.

Now that is some Bull Sh*t. I'm sorry you are living this way and it has continued as long as it has...The counseling suggestion is a good one. Even if you just use it for yourself as you start a new life that doesn't include letting people treat you that way.
Just go get a job...(So what if it is less money than he makes.) Go take some classes too. Take a fun class. something only you are interested in. Once you get used to being around people that show you respect,........Well, you will leave when you are ready.

yet there would still arise times when they would become frustrated, angry or disgusted at someone or at a situation, and wish to express their feelings.

hello friends.
i have been away from the forum for a while and just wanted to drop in to say a quick hi to all.. i was looking through some of the posts and remembering how i felt a couple of years ago when my entire family walked away from the borg, and the reasons for leaving.
there was so much hurt and sadness, confusion and anger, and of course fear!.

this past weekend a two year old boy was run over by his father riding a lawn mower.
the father did not see his son walk in back of the mower when he was backing up.
the child lost his left leg and toes on his other foot.
When my son was 9 years old, He was spending the night with a friend a few houses away. The other parents were letting the boys play with the riding lawn mower...the were playing chicken...I don't know if my son won or lost the game...but he lost half of his foot. None of it could be re-attached.
He was in the hospital for several weeks. He's 19 now and an excellent skateboarder
