What about doing something similar in certain cities of the US, but for the District Conventions season? 2 to 3 billboard near the convention site or on the major highway to that event. There are also mobile billboards that could strategically drive around the convention halls.

its unfortunate that the court declined the lawsuit, a small victory agains the WT shunning policy would have had a big impact in other parts of the world.

After leaving the WT (at least mentally), I have found it very difficult to arrive to conclusive position regarding certain teachings. I have realized that just because a biblical teaching (or interpretation) is considered to be Orthodox (or has the support of the majority), does not make it truth, or definitive.
There are certain teachings that, at this particular moment in my journey, I neither fully reject nor accept. One of them is the eternal hellfire. That is a topic that I would like to study a little deeper before taking a final position (right after I’m done studying the Tri-unity..LOL ). I won’t deny that perhaps I’m biased towards certain doctrines as result of my training as a JW. But my experience has thought me to be a little more inquisitive as to the origin and the source of any particular teaching deemed as the “Truth”.
The risk or drawing my own conclusion is great, and I’ll be only fooling myself if I shape a god to my image. But as the saying goes…From error to error, one discovers the entire truth. So far, I’m comfortable sticking to basics…there is one true God, the Bible is his Word, Jesus is my savior, He’ll comeback (one day), there will be a resurrection, reward for the ones deemed worthy and punishment for the ones declared unworthy. As to the matter of, the current state of the dead, hellfire, and the Trinity…I don’t have any problems calling myself an agnostic Christian. Meaning that as I continue learning and restructuring the details of my believe system, I won’t speak in favor not against any of those teachings. So I agree with your position, one should not reject a biblical teaching just because it’s hard for us to accept.

Black & white thinking always cloud our judgment and understanding of the Bible.
I still can’t get myself to accept the doctrine of eternal hell fire; in the same way that I don’t believe that all non-Christians will be destroyed at Armageddon.
What I liked about the article is that it presented a well balanced and biblically sound position regarding God’s punishment and mercy. Yet there could be a literal hell fire or something similar, but is it really eternal? If it is…how does that jive with a God of justice, love and mercy? The answer might be somewhere in between… and I can accept that.

The JWs are in a divided house. Things are different from what they were in the late 70’s early 80’s. We now have the internet. What used to be “confidential information” in those days, about the Org and its dealing, is now easily available by a few clicks.
The ramifications of the eminent fragmentation will be disastrous to some. And it is not our responsibility to shelter those that will be negatively affected by the WT’s unity crisis; but it is the moral duty of some of us, to provide assistance to those that we care about and are close to.
Things are different now from what they were in the 80’s and 95 (after the change on the “This Generation” teaching). We now have online Social Networks, Ex-JW websites, and many Forums such as this, which could provide the foundation to advertise cell groups willing to provide emotional and spiritual support to those leaving the Org.
Many are discouraged to seek and provide spiritual orientation to departing Witnesses, but at the risk of being accused of promoting another “cult”, I’m a proponent of establishing home bible study groups aimed to providing Christian fellowship to those JW that still want to be religious, but are shy of joining another denomination.
Again, things are different now…the stage is set for a major crisis within the Watchtower Organization and this time, I doubt the WT corp will come out victorious. They won’t go away, but it will never be the same organization….ever.
P.S. I’m willing to provide monetary support to any group of active or former JW that is willing to do a campaign similar to the one being done in Brazil. I pledge $1,000 USD right now.
my wife is bitter towards the organization right now and is finally willing to talk about flaws without her shutting down.
what is the easiest way to prove the witnesses don't have the "the single truth" of the bible?.

In college (my father is not a JW and I HAD to go or else. Boy…I’m so glad for my worldly father! LOL …more on that on another post).
I was taking a history course on Western Civilization; the text book had a time table which dated the fall of Jerusalem at 587 b.c as opposed to 607. That was the bigining of the end, but what put the final nail in the coffin were the pharisaical attitudes, the lack of genuine love, the hypocrisy; and that I felt that I was intellectually and spiritually starving, that no matter how hard I tried, I was not feelin’ the “Truff”.
Oh…and that I was all ready reading “apostate” material and seriously considering DAing myself when I was appointed as an elder. Holy Spirit at work! You bet... but to get me out.
