What if there are sinners in paradise?

disclaimer: i have never been a jw and don't believe in any gods.. .

i've always wondered what the jw line on this would be.

i'm sure sure if it's an original thought but i don't remember reading anything about it.. it starts with the assumption that people in the future paradise earth are exactly as perfect as adam & eve before the fall.. so, what if one of these future people "sins"?

I've always wondered what the JW line on this would be. I'm sure sure if it's an original thought but I don't remember reading anything about it.

It starts with the assumption that people in the future paradise earth are exactly as perfect as Adam & Eve before the fall.

So, what if one of these future people "sins"? Will god make all their descendents imperfect, and therefore suffer?

If not, why did he do that with Adam? What's the difference?

If they won't be capable of sin, why not?

There are 'normal' JWs and there are elders. The elders have had a kind of promotion (they way they see it) and have some 'priviliges' and access to publications that 'normal' JWs don't. The org attempts to keep these publications secret but some have leaked, hence some people know about them.

So as an outsider it seems this may be the levels thing that (for example) scientologists employ to keep their flock in just the right amount of darkness.

Like, when you join they tell you select info, then later you get a bit more etc. Presumably because you need to accept level 1 before you're gullible enough for level 2 etc.

So my questions are:
1. Is the JW org employing the levels thing here?
2. If so, how many levels are there?

is it the logical fallacy of "two wrongs make a right"?

the apostles were directed by god, the governing body is not.

Two answers from my point of view:

1. Pointing out the crimes commited by the supposedly good god character in the story shows that it's most likely a fiction created by men.

2. Even if that god existed, these crimes show that it is not worthy of respect or worship.

Obtaining publications

They came knocking

just had a couple of jdubs at the door.

woman in 60's and guy looking mid-30s.. chatted for awhile but didn't let it get too deep cos i know it's pointless.

got the usual, expected, uneducated comments.. i made my sceptical, scientific views clear.. exchange email addresses with the woman (guy didn't have one) and emailed her an invitation to continue the discussion by email.. what do you think my chances of a reply are?.
