think this activity will be used at the next convention to increase the sense of urgency in the sheeple?

has been an interesting year though when it comes to natural and man made disasters.

i wonder if there are some changes happening earthwide to the planet or if it just seems to be more out of whack than normal?.

How many different books have been published by the watchtower society?

i know there has been a lot, but does anyone actually have any idea?

to make it easier, lets omit books published before say 1960. that gives 50 years worth of books.

i wonder how many books it takes to teach the word of god door to door, and how many just find new ways to say the same things?

one of terrys recent threads reminded me of something i thought about during my awakening from the jw untruth.

it is something that now to me seems very illogical in the adam and eve story.

Just a short observation on my Bible study.

i thought it would be fun to say yes to a weekly bible study just to see how far i could go in undermining the j.w.

beliefs, also to be honest i thought it would make a family member happy.

so i slowly and methodically refuted and questioned all the nutty things that my study teacher, or whatever he's called, tried to throw at me over a period of about 4 months.

my uber-dub sister came round to ask about some family business, in the conversation she said:.

"..........of course she will have to wait for the new system to find out that we (jw's) were right".

she was referring to someone recently passed away who believed in a conventional christian afterlife in heaven.. i asked "do you still believe in the new system then ?

What is the J.W. position on video games?

want to study with me last winter.

he came into my house and while walking around looking at things he noticed my shelved collection of video games, some going back 15 years, but most old playstation rpg and racing games, a few ps2 rpg'd mixed in.

the usual stuff, final fantasy and such.

has tons of money held in offshore accounts.

actually i'm not a witness myself, but my sister is.

we are both adults past 50. after reading about the april 15th change coming to the generations pass away belief here, i mentioned it to her.
