I was a happy JW ... now I must pause, I don't know anymore, I thought I was happy, but I know for sure that now I am miserable because I have known for the past few months that it is not what I thought so now every meeting sucks life out of me, I worry what I might say that will cause trouble, I wonder how to plant thoughts into my children without alarming ... I am now truly miserable as a Witness cuz I guess mentally I am not one yet I am still there.

i feel like i was pretty happy for over 20 of the 25 years.
only the last 5 years and especially the last 1-2 years did i really burn out and just wasn't that into it.

July 15th WT Study Article - Generation PR Fallout to Keep JW's Alert !
by flipper inafter perusing through this article sent to us by our lurking jw friend- that's what i took away from this study article entitled " what jehovah's day will reveal " .
this article was printed to keep jw's alert to the alleged urgency of the times - just in case some get puzzled by the new extended overlapping generation theory and lose their sense of urgency.
i think the wt society is covering their backside here , doing possible damage control , and are very nervous about negative fallout in regards to how some jw's may respond to this extended " overlapping generation " theory being pushed.

it shows how the penny eventually adds up over $5 million dollars in the course of month.. i think that's what's happening with the wtbs - it's not (obviously!!!

I have been in sales much of my life. It was always a dilemna in my mind realizing that the ministry could be compared to sales. Its a numbers game, you can expect a certain percentage of return in direct relation to effort. Its all about knowing your product, asking the right questions, finding out what your customer needs or wants are so you can provide the solution that makes them fell good. Thing is, the percentage of return on sharing the Watchtower message is quite low. But the Theocratic Ministry School is all about sales.

i started reading coc a couple of weeks ago whenever i get a chane to hide out, i'm into chapter 7, great information.. last night i decided to listed to a couple of mp3's i found at freeminds.. if i wasn't sure already, they put the nails in the watchtower's coffin, especially gregerson's expose on his study.
similarly as gregorson, i too set out to try and boost my faith and prove to myself that i had "the truth".

... the above link appears to be the 1926 edition, which I understand had some creative editing done. Gregerson, in the audio, refers to the 1917 edition as that was what would be the quality food distributed at the proper time that would have garnered Jesus' approval and appointment of the group as the faithful and discreet slave. I believe the audio also brings out that Ray's book "In Search of Christian Freedom" talks about this subject.

Heaven - download the Gregerson audio link, it explains "the truth" that Watchtower was teaching in 1918 1919 when they were selected as the FDS because they were providing food at the proper time.
