--the name of a real live (not dead) member of the faithful and discreet slave class- someone who has admitted in public they are one of the f&ds and who can verify they have been providing the "meat in due season" for the governing body.

obviously the gb can't be the f&ds, because they are neither discreet nor do they have a position of servitude- no, they have made it plain they are the bosses over jws and jws have to obey their words, as if jehovah and jesus were speaking them, or else they will get the disfellowshiped.

just one verifiable name will do and how you obtained it.. the governing body claims that the f&ds are directing them and the worldwide work of jws, but they have never proven that they have a f&ds class they communicate with- just have one of the annointed call bethel and ask to speak to one of the gb and see what the switchboard operator does with their call.

The 24th chapter of Matthew says that the Christ/Messiah returns after the tribulation. It also states as the text reads here in Matthew that the FDS is appointed—when?—after the great tribulation and after the Christ/Messiah returns. Therefore, the great tribulation being a future event and the Christ’s/Messiah’s return being a future event—the “appointment” of the FDS is also a future event as the text reads here. That being the case, there cannot now be an FDS existing as the Society itself describes—not according to how the Bible states it here in Matthew. (Matthew 24:29, 45-46)

The FDS that exists today among JWs (or any other religious organization for that matter), is a classic example of those whom Christ described as “thosewho have seated themselves in the seat of Moses.” (Matthew 23:2)

However, for accuracy’s sake, the true FDS is none other than Jaheshua Mischajah and he was appointed long ago upon his resurrection and ascension to heaven.

Say, when did god ever command rape? Seriously, when? I mean, perhaps some of his people did do such heinous things, but what ever makes you think god commanded such rape?

No, back in bible times (or any other time for that matter) it would NOT have been OK for YOU to kill whole populations. Get real! YOU don’t have that kind of authority.

As for having “consensual sex with a woman [you] weren’t married to,” who says that you would have been classed as “wicked”? Really? Did Jaheshua (Jesus) class the woman caught in the very act of adultery as someone “wicked”? No, he didn’t. What ever makes you think (or rather, who made you think) that you would be so classed? King David while having sinned with Bathsheba was never classed as “wicked.” Why would you think you would be?

Please, re-read verse 18 of Malachi chapter 3 and get the sense of it.

for the first time in close to 15 years, i have not been compelled by our lord to issue an "invitation" on this board regarding the upcoming wtbts "memorial" event.

for many years, i have posted exhortations and reminders as to what our lord said about those "in union" with him and what it takes to be in such union.

In fact, Jay88, the celebration of the Passover (and subsequently the Memorial of Christ’s death) has always been a “familial” celebration. The Passover “law”--while done by the entire nation--was that it was to be celebrated in one’s home.

Read Exodus, chapter 12:

Speak to the entire assembly of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month they are to take for themselves each one a sheep for the ancestral house, a sheep to a house. 4 But if the household proves to be too small for the sheep, then he and his neighbor close by must take it into his house according to the number of souls; YOU should compute each one proportionate to his eating as regards the sheep. 5 The sheep should prove to be sound, a male, a year old, for YOU . Then when Jehovah does pass through to plague the Egyptians and does see the blood upon the upper part of the doorway and upon the two doorposts, Jehovah will certainly pass over the entrance, and he will not allow the ruination to enter into YOUR houses to plague YOU .

It is the sacrifice of the passover to Jehovah, who passed over the housesof the sons of Israel.

Mr. Falcon Asks......What's so bad about boxing?

i love boxing.

it kicks arse all over the place.

although it has lost some of it's prior glory and has waaaay too many classes that are televised and billed as "main events", it's still better than mma (sorry to any mma fans; i actually don't mind ufc, i'm just saying that i prefer traditional boxing).. anywho, what is the deal with jws hating on boxing?

5 Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one,
And anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.

The question follows: Do you think that boxing is "violent." If not, enjoy boxing. If yes . . . you decide how you should "think," "feel," and/or "comport" yourself with this knowledge of Jah's thinking, which is said to be "higher than man's thinking," yes? Would someone's "loving violence" classify them as "righteous" or would it classify them as someone "wicked"?

But that's up to you to decide for yourself.

however, can there be an a priori experence, one that is objective, outside the bounds of personel experiene, or does it remain subjective?

god speaks to me, through many venus, except audible.

And isn't this exactly what Paul was referring to when he wrote:

what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. 20 For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable. . . .--Romans 1:19, 20.

Seems to me when one truly examines the creation, one cannot NOTsee the invisible God and His qualities.
