i was preparing comments on another thread and some strange memories started to surface.
one that had haunted me years ago was the disfellowshipping of jan. she was a 30 something woman who had found herself single when her husband ran off with her good friend.
jane was no angel herself though: a slim, suntanned, blonde headed, party girl who's life style had made her quite familiar with the judicial process, which is how jane and i became more acquainted.
I know this is very hard for caring men to deal with (jc stuff)
But to add hardship to what has already been done, Steve was talking with an old friend tonight and found out what happened to Jane. She did get re-instated several years ago. But he found out that she has since committed suicide. *big, heavy sigh*

Well, at least you're honest about your intentions. You didn't come here to share on an equal basis, but to "teach," but not wanting any disagreement. This seems to be the attitude of a lot of religious people. Don't you see anything wrong with that picture? If you don't want disagreement, then why talk? If people want to be "taught," believe me, they'll find the teacher they want.

heightened security measures in the u.s. now demand the implementation very soon of a new program called "capps ii".
airline passengers will now be required to not only present photo identification at the airport ticket counter, they will now be required to also provide their date of birth.. airlines are being ordered by the so-called "homeland security" agency to determine if each passenger is a flight risk, rating them "green" (ok to fly), "yellow" (need to be interrogated before allowing access to the aircraft), or "red" (forbidden to fly under any circumstances).. while many see this as a necessary security measure in the shadow of the 9/11 disaster, others are screaming "foul" because they believe it is an invasion of their privacy.. once this plan is initiated, i will no longer patronize airlines, not because of the invasion of privacy factor, but because of the threat of datamining.
what is "datamining"?

due to family obligations, landlords wanting their house back and job changes, i didnt have the time to spend to myself.. i know you are all dying to hear my good news.................. as a lot of you know, i miscarried the middle of last year.

i just had a phone call from princess, who is in phoenix az for the rock and roll marathon.
it was her first full marathon, and she finished, which was her goal.
she came in at about 4:30 hours.. she had a bit of knee problem, but finished it.
GREAT!
oh wonderful her kids were there for the last mile. How sweet!

it's cold in toronto tonight/this a.m. - i believe it went as low as -26c (minus 26 celsius) .
it was pretty freakin' cold.

It was down to 32 last night! It rained all yesterday. Cold, damp, cloudy, wounds like the beach! lol
We have our winters, but not as cold as up north.
