why I like this web site

i thought about posting this topic earlier today and decided not to.. but after reading little-lamb-on-a-hill i thought, what the heck?.

yesterday, my eight year old son had some minor surgery, nothing serious, very minor, but you know how the doctors tell you how even minor surgery can take a serious turn.

well, i started to imagine all the things that could go wrong and of course thought of the blood issue.

It is nice to know you can "connect" with other people during a crisis. This place has really helped me heal from all the deprogramming and I really feel I have true friends here. When I have to be away from a computer for several days, I always wonder how everyone here is doing and can't wait to catch up on the "news".

I hope as time goes by you can slowly get through to your wife and kids. You display a lot of patience that I admire. Keep up the good work for you family.

It is so scary to see children (even young adults) go through pain and recovery.

I can't believe you sound so calm when describing this situation. I hope all the girls are going to be ok, especially your daughter.

Wordly people, df'ing, my experience

the bryant tragedy has really been stuck in my head and heart this week as i'm sure it has been for all of us.

it occured to me though that there may be some here or lurking that do not understand what made robert do what he did.

there may be some who think that his was an isolated incidence of severe untreated mental illness and have nothing to do with his being disfellowshiped.

As hard as it was to write your "story", I'm sure it will help somone out there.

You really need to be thinking seriously about writing your story in a book, to help not only ones here on the discussion board, but others who are computer illiterate. You have good writing skills and you express yourself very nicely.

I, too, am sad over this Bryant family. It effects all loving people.

Keep on with your wonderful healing, it shows!
