just got off the phone with my mom which was mostly a pleasant conversation.
we were talking about moving around to different places and asked if we desire to see more of the us why don't we just pack up and go?
i stated that we wanted to adopt or have a child in a few years.
some day, unquie1, you'll see how she is munipulating you. She is under mind-control (cult) and uses guilt to get you to hurt.
You are in control of your feelings. So don't allow what silly words your mother says stir up feelings of guilt/hurt. Just picture her mouth moving and nothing coming out. Or if you would rather, put in words you want to hear. Make them positive and then you can see how she is guilting/hurting you, and that is not love.
btw, why stir up the feelings of your hubby. Let love start with you.

hello it's been a long time since i was here just needed some input please from all loving parents...would you rather your daughter be:
1. married to a guy who's not really that great (history of having lotsa women, irresponsible) but seems to love/like your daughter.
2. be gay (with woman who is quite good, responsible and everything but - a woman...).
only way to prove that my life is mine is i have the power to take it.
this really scares me. Gotcha, please come back and talk some more. It sounds like you are really hurting.
Instead of asking the parents how they feel about their kids, if they were gay, you need to ask those here who are gay how they handled coming to terms with their own life. How they learned to own their own life and not be suicidal. I'm sure these are feeling many have experienced when they realize they may hurt those whom have raised them. But you need to learn the difference between being loved and being under control.
You're parents have no right to control who you are. And unfortunately if they are making you feel bad about yourself, then distance yourself from them. Repsect that they are your parents but don't let them control you. Life is precious and worth living. Don't throw it away to show yourself or others what "power" you have.

the only thing "in" the WTBTs is family and people. These individuals are under mind-control. So why would anyone want to lose their freedom to think?
The "hook" or dangling carrot of the WTBTs is the paradise. If you keep your eyes "on the prize" you don't really look at the teachings/doctrines/actions of the WTBTs. You try to make whatever it says fit into your reality of life so that you can attain that prize.
At least you are starting to think and question on your own. It is scary at first, but you'll eventually deprogram enough to see it is all a house of cards, filled with smoke and mirrors. Thus there really isn't anything to go back to. It is all lies.

You are a bright gal, I remember , so please go get some counseling like I said. It must be hard to not be a "good jw gal" and now having feelings that you feel is against society. Well, those feelings are your feelings and you have every right to them. Please get help to see that you are a worthy person, NO MATTER WHAT. If something bothers someone else, that is their problem.
It takes people a long, long time to ever get to that point in their life. If helps to get help, to reach that point sooner. Please go get help.
