  charisma can work wonders.. it can be both entertaining or maddening to large crowds of eager listeners.. whole populations can be swayed by a silver tongue or mad ranting poison-sac attached to a man leading a movement.. .

  the history of the watchtower society proves this.. leadership is tricky and movements are volatile.

  those who made you can undo you too.. .

  Baby boomer JW facing diapers and dentures and finally death.

  Was born 3rd gen Jehovah's Witness in 1957 watched ALL MY JW CLAN come and go never thinking they would die of old age in this system.I am now working long and hard $$ just to keep my original teeth in my mouth.Teeth that were never cared for the way they should have been,I was age 17 in 1975 was supposed to get 'delivered in to paradise' then.

  one of the most persistent myths on this website is that jws are already in decline, the rot has set in, and the descent of the watchtower is inevitable from here on in.

  unfortunately the facts do not bear this out.

  jws are still increasing even in most developing countries, and they are still growing worldwide at a faster rate than the general population.

  There are 100 times as many Roman Catholics as Jehovah's Witnesses and they are 'false religion' too.

  No matter what quantity of membership the Watchtower is NOT the one true religion God's only channel for salvation.

  Apostates to the Watchtower have nothing to fear.I have NO dread of God and now pray and am closer to Jesus than I ever was the 33 years as a devout JW.

  I consider myself truly blessed to know the truth about the truth.

  These are self-reporting membership numbers no way to verify.Moreover the Watchtower LIES (blasphemes) about doctrine so why wouldn't they exaggerate membership figures?

  Ditto with Scientology a more extreme case claims millions worldwide probably closer to 50,000

  Furthermore hasn't the Watchtower 'adjusted' their publisher counting criteria to be less strigent and inflated?

  Jehovah's Witnesses 1914 date is a carry over of William Millers Adventist 1844 'great disappointment' end times with the same illustrated prophecies of Daniel and the JW twist is Charles T Russel added pyramidology into the mix. My old time JW grandfather talked about the pyramids often so there are eyewitness to all the WT bunk.
