Do you ever wonder...
by OneDayillBeFree inif there are any brothers or sisters in your kingdom hall that are mentally awake to ttatt?.
do you ever wonder if some of the posters here (who are still in) are in your hall?
studies, un-baptized publishers, pioneers, ministerial servants, elders?

Should Employers be WARNED about Jehovahs Witnesses
by BlindersOff1 inany gov agency or private company that has private personal info of customers/clients should be aware.
its common knowledge to long time witnesses that jws will violate customer privacy laws and rules when they see something a customer does or buys that they think jw congregation elders should know about .
thats right they will spy for the elders.. .

Well religion should not play a role as to whether a person gets a job or doesn't, however JW's involve religion. They choose an organization over the law. so in that case I feel it should be disclosed.
I knew of a person who had access to public records reporting to the elders that someone unmarried was treated for an STD. That is completely unacceptable to me.

Yes I definitely noticed, but honestly my "worldly" friends have been the only thing keeping me going.

I'm surrounded by Witnesses!
by Anony Mous inas some of you remember, i was quite active last year on here, getting out of the cult and in the process losing my wife, having my child kidnapped by wife under supervision of elders, long drawn-out custody and divorce disputes which came out largely in my favor.
all of that is nearly over, the judge is signing off on the last pieces of paper.. so what happened since?
got a girlfriend, got into different lifestyles and i am for the first time very happy with my life.

Double Standard re: Baptism
by lostinnj83 ini was speaking to my mother earlier this week, and she was mentioning about someone in her hall that was in the hospital.
this person was never mentally "present" even prior to getting baptized.
my mom said out of the blue "why would they allow someone who is mentally incoherent to make such a serious commitment as baptism?".

@Kurtbethel- I never thought it that way! But it makes total sense!

Today's watchtower study... Ugh.
by OneDayillBeFree inwatchtower studies like today's really make me feel anger for this cult.
i mean almost all of them do but this one is one of those articles that takes things too far.. i mean they are condemning the people who are trying to help/save the earth because it's "satan's" world and instead are saying that religious salesmen with magazines are doing way more than the others!like are you f**king kidding me?another reason why i hated this study article is for what some of the young ones did in response to the study.
as one was unwrapping a piece of candy, he decided to throw the wrapper on the ground.

What are the things you dislike most about JW's?
by Chariklo intop of my list has to be hypocrisy.
it runs right through, from elders downwards.
the literature and the gb are bad enough, but the bit that touches ordinary people, householders, students and ordinary rank and file is the false goodness that they put on like a raincoat.

I agree, the hypricrosy is the worst part.

@Phizzy- yes if my mom was reasonable I could softly say those things to her but i did mention to her years ago about being way to young to be baptized and she called me a few days later and said I thought about what you said, and perhaps you should consider "rebaptism"
SMH!
