Why has the WT not tried to shut down this board?

we all know that beth hell monitors this site.. they have repeatedly had sites shut down for quoting large portions of their litterature.

not this one.. do you think this board enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in ex and aposto land?

There is no doubt they do. A few years ago when the new Elders' manual link was posted on here, I believe Simon was notified by an external source that it was a "copyright infringement" and he was to make sure the link was taken down immediately. I can't quite remember all the details (maybe Simon could?).

Another instance that shows they monitor this site is when several of us use to do "Fun With Covers" on here probably 5 or 6 years ago. We'd take the covers of the WT and Awakes magazines and put our own titles on them. One of the posters (Wasanelder I think) then uploaded them to youtube and put some music with them. The Borganization complained again about 'copyright infringement' and they were taken down, but they're up there again now. LOL.

Essentially true, but they still allowed for the occassional "replacement" without too much hassle. Depending on who you were. Ted Jackass Jaracz wasn't even baptized until 1941 and he didn't start partaking until 1971. Seeing as he was alreay pretty high on the ladder by then, I doubt anyone gave him a hard time. However, if an average R&F started doing the same thing, they'd be viewed as "haughty" or "forgetting their place" or "mentally diseased".

what a wonderful holiday season!

time with family, time for fun, and in the midst of it all - we got married!

after christmas we were in palm springs for the weather and golf, but took off for nevada on thursday and tied the knot in a sweet, simple ceremony.

No, no, no......all this proves is how right they were and able to discern and/or gleen these wonderful truths that The End would not happen for another century! Evidently, The End is coming in 2014. Time to sell those homes and businesses.......again!
