that's between 500 and 1700 children a day, depending on what numbers you accept.

Oh CL I am soo excited it's ridiculous! Plus one of my friends has roped me into doing a xmas fayre with her, so I have lots of xmassy things to make before the end of the month. Just sat down putting my ideas together!
We are getting a real tree this year and it's going up in the front window! YEY! DUBBIES KISS MY FINGER LICKING GOOD ASS!

OMG! I have had a huge row with my neighbour in the driveway! Oh the shame.....
by watersprout inso we are looking after this stray we found called ''dog''.... she is ok seems to have settled down and made herself at home.
lol.
so this morning we jump in the car to take carrot to work and we put dog in the kitchen so she doesn't eat all my furniture.

In truth, your neighbor sounds lonely, bitter, and unhappy... nothing better to do but to think up imagined slights and insults so she can be angry.
A couple of years ago I was in the garden hanging out washing as we were going on holiday... The neighbour popped her head over the fence and started talking to me. (I was shocked as she was soo vile) I was polite as I carried on what I was doing. She said that she would love to go on holiday but can't as her husband is very ill. She seemed really put out by him being ill. So yeah she is bitter and lonely.
When I feel that way, I just avoid people and situations that might provoke that till I am in a better state of mind.
I don't usually flip at neighbours though. This has been a long time coming and I had had enough of her nastiness.
My brother in law wants the dog as a watch dog so he refused to try a bark collar.
Oh dear... I dislike and I stop incessant barking... It does my head in, so I will not allow it. I'm all for dogs barking at an intruder but barking at every....single....noise will drive a person insane. The neighbours on the other side of us are lovely, never had a complaint and Carrot even asked them if they heard the dog barking when she was alive) and they said very rarely. It's just crazy lady being a gigantanormous pain the the arse!
Hamsterbait that is an excellent idea! I will also say that to her if EVER she attempts to talk to me again in the manner she did.
Shel (the greatest love and peace to you!) we have done everything in our power over the last four years to be good neighbours. When her husband has been taken into hospital we have gone round to make sure she is ok and to ask if she need shopping. Babysprout has taken her plants she has grown herself round. We share our front lawn so Carrot would mow her side when he did our side. Only a few months back she put up a wacking great big ugly wall to section of her grass from ours! We were baffled! It's horrible! It looks horrible! All nher incessant complaints we have bent over backwards to appease her. Nothing works with her. So time to change tactic! Sometime kindness fuels nasty people to be nastier!

Repeat what Won't leave?? I have dealt with the the crazy neighbour! She felt my wrath.
I feel sad thinking about what happened to poor Nellie.
I'm still sad to... It's horrible but i'm learning to cope without her in the house... What makes it soo hard was how dependant she was on us... The first six years of her life had been filled with fear and pain and with us she finally found peace. She was loved and spoilt, told off when she messed herself cause she didn't like using the loo in the rain and emptying the bin! Lol. She is not in any pain so that is all that matters.

So i'm out treat or treating and I come home with a dog! WTFrick??
by watersprout inso we are out treat or treating and i notice a dog very distressed howling and shaking with fear... so i try and approach her but she starts growling at me.
carrot rings the doorbell of the house that she is hiding on and the people have never seen her before... quite a few neighbours come out and we eventually win her round... she is terrified and very disorientated.... we scoure the streets looking for her owners but to no avail... all we can gather from her behaviour is that she was most likely thrown from a car... she has not long finished whelping a litter and is clearly distressed... we end up bringing her back for the night and has not left carrot alone... she has been lying on him, licking and kissing him.
all she has wanted is to be curled up on his lap.... obviously he is her saviour!

Awww Zid that is lovely! You can hijack my thread with pleasure! That cat sound gorgeous... I can't get my head round how cruel people can be... Thank the Lord that there are loving people out there that do look after other people and animals. Post a piccie when you can, I want to see her!
Oh Shel (peace to you!) I started to get attached to her! I was on the phone to the car insurance and she sat on top of the armchair chewing the cable. Everytime I stopped her she licked my face! Lol. I'm glad she has gone to a new home and I hope she will be happy and settled. It was really traumatic! I was shattered last night, to much going on in such a short time. Lol!
I'm glad to Fact finder... It's worrying not knowing where they end up, I could never re-home a litter of pups.... The owners would have to jump through hoops to even be allowed access to the house. Lol.

Babysprout really believes in Santa... All the kids in her class have been telling her he isn't real. I mean what is this, a class full of dubbies?? Well some of babysprouts friends (who still believe) were getting very upset, so Babysprout told ''those children don't believe that's why Santa doesn't visit. We all believe so that's why he brings us presents''... So yey there are still santa believers! This will be Babysprouts 3rd Christmas and I will not have any ruined by some snotty kids! Now I know how the parents felt when my sister went to school and made ALL the kids cry by saying ''santa isn't real, it's your parents bringing you presents''... When you think about it, it's really disturbing for a 4 year old to think like that!
This is the first Xmas we are spending at home just the three of us, so we get to make all our own traditions... As for present traditions babysprout gets her presents off us and then when she wakes up, there is a pile of presents in completely different paper with fancy ribbon in a pile off santa. Each xmas she asked for a new pillow, so I cut the label out, made a label that has ''santas workshop'' on one side and on the other ''stuffed by elves''... All the present labels have written on them the elf that wrapped each present... It's great fun making it all. I love it!
This year one of my friends told me one of her favourite traditions... On xmas eve after getting back from the MIL's the kids find wrapped presents under the tree from the elves. They are to open them that night. The present is a brand new pair of pyjamas! So this year I will taking out pyjama labels and putting in santa ones!
I want Babysprout to pass on memorable traditions to her kids... I love xmas and all the planning and preparations! I'm like a kid and I do all the things for Babysprout that I would have loved. You never know Santa might just leave some pressies for me this year! Fingers crossed! Lol. No seriously I really hope he does!
