Well, I Guess There IS One Good Thing About the WTBTS...
by AGuest inif you're the kind of person who would rather convince yourself that someone isn't "deserving" of your help... which may include your money... even an amount as small as $3.00... the wtbts was the right group to be a part of.
because they have every excuse under the sun for not giving to the poor... not helping out someone in need... not even giving a hungry one a meal (because we know, don't we, that every one of them is an alcoholic and/or drug addict... and everyone knows... particularly the wtbts... that those folks... those sinners... don't deserve to eat at all...).
looks like some of have learned well from them.

All this kind person did was fight for the homeless mans right to have a meal! This man spoke out against the injustice of it all. There are not enough people in this world who speak out for what is right.

I noticed when i was a dub, i was wishing my life away! I truly believed that i wouldn't grow old! Everything that i wanted in life a beautiful home home, car, rewarding job, lots of children was to be set on the back burner cause in the paradise i would get all that and more, well if the elders allowed it, that is! So it was good that we struggled in every aspect of our lives cause that meant Jehovah would bless us in the paradise! Yes that reasoning [ if you can call it reasoning] was well and truly blown out the window!!!!!!!!!!
I know a couple personally from our old cong elder/window cleaner, wife stays at home looks after babies. They have had their mortgage on interest only payments for 7 years. They have said they will keep their mortgage payments as low as possible because armageddon is coming so they will never have to bother repaying the mortgage! Are they in for a shock when their mortgage term ends!

Easy there, Sprout. I think you misunderstood my comment. Please take another look: I was saying in response to your answer, "Okay, I'll take that as a yes" that you DO accept every claim others might make of hearing the voice of God.... not that you "judge" anyone. Okay?
Please accept my apology, i misread your post! Yes, if someone says they hear my Lords voice, then i am in no position to judge them as to whether they do/don't.

So instead of employing a little critical thinking, you simply accept each claim, since you can't know for sure? At worst, why not suspend belief until more information and evidence presents itself?
Inkie already commented on your questions and none of his answers were good enough. Ones still picked fault. No matter what I put, Shelby puts or Inkie puts it will still not be good enough for any of you. What you all want is for ME to admit i have mental health issues. Let me assure you ''I DO NOT'' have mental health issues. I have not said that i want to cause pain to anyone, all I was directed to say was ''Show love and kindness to others''. Seriously what is soo wrong with that?? Is it because i heard a voice?? Obviously yes.........
To be perfectly honest i have never met soo many people who like to accuse others of having a ''mental illness'' and are ''crazy'' when all us ''crazy'' people do is show love and kindness to others. You will not be happy with any answers given that are posted to your questions because they are NOT what YOU want to hear.

Do you accept every claim others might make of hearing the voice of God, so long as they seem like a good, spiritual human?
Who am I to judge?
How do you determine which ones to believe and which ones to write off as being in a state of psychosis?
Like i said above, who am I to judge.
Should a person not question himself when he hears such a voice?

Would a person who is in a state of psychosis realize it?

What steps have you taken to eliminate the possibility that your mind was the source of the voice?
