  Full transcripts of judicial case.

  in january 2009 i was disfellowshipped from jw's.

  i documented the whole process and recorded it which you can find here:- death or obedience.

  many people asked for english transcripts of these recordings and i'm pleased to say i now have full transcripts kindly supplied anonymously for those who wish to read them.. these will be of great help to those who have trouble hearing or cannot understand the scottish accents on the recordings.. they are available here:- the trial of a jehovah's witness the new site has it's own audio link for each transcript so you can listen along as you read.. the person who has supplied me is interested in the moral and ethical issues this case has thrown up.

  Something a brother said to me

  today a brother said something to me about my opinions of the doctrinal changes and imperfections of the gb.

  he said "there have been many imperfect men in the past who have made mistakes, but god had no problem using those people".

  my reply was "yeah, but how many things have they written in the bible that are incorrect?".

He said "There have been many imperfect men in the past who have made mistakes, but God had no problem using those people". My reply was "Yeah, but how many things have they written in the Bible that are incorrect?"

  My point is, just because they didn't understand something, didn't give them an excuse to misenterpret it. If you believe the Bible is inspired, they only wrote what they were told to write. They didn't make any claims. They only made prophecies that maybe they didn't understand. Regardless, they didn't change anything up.

  I'm excited people! This week I will be absent from my first assembly ever! I can't wait to sleep in and not sit out in the cold helping people park. I can't wait to not be bored to tears. Last assembly I took my MP3 player, pretended like I was using the record feature, and listened to music instead. I can't wait to watch football on Sunday. Heck, I may even do a little drinking on Saturday and Sunday. I can't wait.

  Can I be df'd even if I never meet with the elders?

  I'm sure they'll be calling on me shortly to meet. I'll refuse because there's no point. They are going to disfellowship me anyways, why take an earbeating?

  conundrum for the writing department

  in the latest awake magazine in an article "are science and the bible compatible?

  " three men of science are referred to and quoted, henry schaefer, professor of chemistry, austrian physicist and nobel laureate erwin schrodinger and john lennox, professor of mathematics at the university of oxford, england.

  if you do a google search of these names you will be see that all three have years and years of worldly education to their credit (which is contrary to all things watchtower).

  to advance his career, he and his wife, sue, went to europe in the 1990's, where wayne pursued higher education.

  the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.

  many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses.

  JW teens question

  i've been out for 11 years and working on an assignment of what jw teens are into now, stuff that's seen as borderline where they can participate, but only to an extent.. an example pre-internet: we could skateboard, but couldn't be punk rock, so we hung out with the punk rockers at skate ramps and our parents didn't know.. what are the jws saying regarding:.

  facebook.

  internet porn.

  Facebook is generally looked down upon. First question the elders asked me when I presented apostate teachings to them was "do you have a facebook".

  Porn always has been a no-no.

  Video games are bad. Unless you are playing them on the Wii.

  Sports, skateboarding, etc. okay as long as you don't participate with non-JW's.

  For music, I'm not sure if this is true or not but I believe a question on Bethel application is "How long has it been since you stopped listening to rock music" or something along those lines. So if they aren't kindom melodies, they are bad.
