  Not only did he kill the babies, he killed women too. They had rats (or mice, can't remember) so he got a cat to get rid of them and the cat used every place as the bathroom. The place was a house of horrors.

  Share the Craziest far out ideas/arguments you have heard about life in the "NEW SYSTEM"

  really the whole thing is ludicrious but it is hilarious and sad at the same time to see grown people arguing about weather there will be cars, planes, eat meat, what about fish, etc in a place as imaginary as oz, yet to them it is reality.. the teaching of a paradise earth was so illogical it really was the first thing that started me on the path to waking up.

  just the thought that someone could greet their beloved spouse who had died only to come to the realization that they could never be together again struck me as so cruel, i didnt want to live there even if it was all true.. i have heard jws say they think we might be able to fly, read minds since we will be able to use 100% and some seem to think life would be an endless vacation, with modern conveniences with no thought to all the processes and work that goes into something simple like a pencil.

  i love the article jwfacts has on the flaws of any theory or teaching of paradise earth.. what are some things you have heard discussed/argued in car groups, gatherings etc when you were in?.

  Gonna go with Shawshank. Moreso the movie than the book. Shows the way different people could react to life outside of the walls of the Borg. Brooks couldn't deal with not being in the walls because that was all he knew for 50 years. Red showed the struggle to find a purpose outside of the walls but ultimately hung on and it paid off.

  the great topic of dogpatch, brought up my some thoughts about "who is in charge of the watchtower society".. first the character of the organization: since the foundation by w.h.

  conley and the russells the watchtower society have ever been commercial.. 1. cooporation between businessmen and bankers: joseph, charles taze russell and william h. conley.. 2. exchange a small store chain for a more profitable business: religion.. 3. target group: anxiously, rich, white, mainly female part of population.. 4. using money making scheme 1: the watchtower society had to pay for the license of the publications written by russell, tower publishing corporation.. 5. using money making scheme 2: all profits of the watchtower society are invested in real estate.

  i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

  i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

  i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

  1914 is the year for two major events: the end of the gentile times and the beginning of the last days.. .

  the gentile times prophecy (luke 21:24) is a supposition that the "seven times" of daniel 4 had a second fulfillment, thus the 2,520 years prophecy was born with 607 c.e.

  now i am going to do a rear thing here and i am going to stick up for the wts.

  i realise that the wts hasn't got the best of track record, and sure they have made mistakes.

  but if i was to go to another church wouldn't they still have the same issues.
