  im a liceinced electrician now working in wireless communication installations.i love the electrical industry,there is so much to learn and so many different things do work with and technology is always changing.never a boaring day especially when we are working in the office buildings downtown,chicks everywhere!.

  Hi Pierced Angel.

  I'm not sure whether we're using freelancers. This is a start-up book; we had a premier issue in November, and the regular issues start in March/April. So far we've been using writers from our other books, and we haven't even up staffed the magazine yet. (We senior editors get to "volunteer" to edit the copy.)

  I'm an editor and work for Penton Technology Media. We publish a lot of computer-related magazines and newsletters, including a cool new magazine called Connected Home. Besides working for trade pubs, I've also worked in marketing communications for a couple of large electronics companies.

  Hey, BoozeRunner! I've worked with printers for years and years; spent lots of time in plants doing press OKs. I love the printing business and being in the plant. Don't do that anymore on this latest job and I miss it.

  slag off us brits?.

  i read all these posts (mainly by a couple of cuddly norwegians) about how the us needs to get it's act together, then there's a flurry of ripostes, the occasional nasty dig, a few generalisations and then the whole thing peters out until some bright spark feels the urge to start off the mischief once again.. well, im sick and tired of belonging to a perfect race and living in a perfect country.

  the uk obviously has the best economy, the best soccer teams, the best monarchy, the best teeth, the best cuisine, the best weather, the best tv, the best armed forces, the best penal system, the best paranoids,.

  Hey, EnglishMan, I notice you didn't say you had the best *royal family*! ) OK, the Queen Mum is alright, but the rest of them? Ugh.

  After living in Switzerland, I have to say that the Swiss have the best of everything European. (except for maybe their prices)

  I hope this girl beats her leukemia. If she does, she'll look back someday when she's an old woman (and Armageddon never came in her lifetime) and thank her lucky stars that the government of Canada saved her life.

  Thank god her father isn't a dub.

  I have a good friend who almost died when she refused blood transfusions. She's no longer a dub and hasn't been for about 20 years. Just imagine if she *had* died--and all for a religion she doesn't even believe in today.

  With the Society's dismal success in keeping teenagers in the religion, the chances are good this girl won't remain a dub, anyway, especially if her father is able to influence her.

  Last night's meeting

  my son had a talk last night, so i had the priviledge of trudging off to another meeting.

  the bible section being considered at the present time is isaiah 19-26. much to my surprize, i learned that the society is prefigured in at least two places in these few chapters.

  they consider themselves the "watchman" class, as well as the "eliakim" class, with the poor old clergy of christendom relegated to the mere "shebna" class.. this correspondance of the society to virtually everything in the bible is getting sickening already.

  My mom tries not to attend too many meetings, but when she does, she stays busy working on fiction (she's writing a book). She said she hopes people will think she's taking notes, but I think they know better. Anyway, I passed your tip along to her for those times when she has writer's block or her pen runs out of ink.

  Self Insuring

  does anyone here know anything about insurance?.

  i plan to go on cobra for 18 months after i leave work and am in school.. will i have to find fulltime work after that to avoid meeting preexisting conditions wait periods on an individual health plan?

  i have received differing answers.

  Joelbear, if you're going to a decent-sized university, you should be able to get insurance through the school. I bought insurance for myself and two sons when I went to Colorado State. I also used their medical facility (a sort of mini-hospital). That would surely be less expensive than COBRA. I'd check it out with the school you plan to attend.

  gal 1:8. we have the apostle paul clearly warning the galatians, to the extent of invoking a divine curse, about believing other versions of the good news than what paul had originally published.. the question is which good news should i believe?

  the one published by the apostle paul from tarsus, or the one from charles taze russell from allegheny, pennsylvania?.

  john 6: 53,54. we have none other than jesus christ himself, our supposed leader, telling us in no uncertain terms that unless we eat his flesh and drink his blood, we will not have everlasting life.. the question is whom should i trust with my everlasting prospects?

  i thought it might be a good idea to find out at what age or after how long we descided to leave the watchtower.. prehaps we my find a patern in it which we could use .. i think what we need to know are ,.
