  i would just like some opinions on something that seems strange to me.

  there is a man at my sons' school who comes every day to pick up his daughter.

  he has always been friendly with me, and i am friendly back, which is fine.

  He is not "creepy" but an old soul

  Don't be uncomfortable if he likes to wink at you

  I am sure his smiles are sincere

  He is just watching for the best angle

  ......to collect a few souvenirs to cover hs bedroom walls with

  Come on! I am sure he is as sweet as a puppy

  and he will probably love your guardrobe

  Give him a chance and have an intelligent conversation with him

  You will have his undivided attention

  it has taken me a long time, but i have finally put together an article outlining how i used the law to force bethel to send me my personal files.

  in brief, in 2006 i requested that bethel send me my files on the basis that the australian privacy act 1988 entitles people to receive a copy of any information a corporation holds about them.

  I get the point. So your file contains not just a report of your JW curriculum vitae but cutish assesments of you and your loyalty to the WT.

  It also reveals some aspects of the Society's internal mechanism of the ladder of power.

  I agree that it is also very interesting to see their assessment that faith in Jehovah is not nearly as important as having faith in the WashTowel; that is something that has been deducted, but this time it is written by them.

  I fail to see the point , advantage, benefit or satisfaction of having a hard copy of what you already know. Can somebody explain this to me, a non-JW?

  rev 20;4-10 - says those who were true witnesses, did not get mark of beast on hand or forhead, did not worship it's image, came to life and ruled as kings and priest for 1,000 years, the rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were ended.

  happy and holy are those of the first resurrection, they will be kings and priests of god and of the christ and rule 1,000 years.
