  I live in a state where tobacco was the King crop

  Years ago, the public schools in my county had smokin' sections to allow students

  14 years old and up a place to smoke

  .

  .

  I don't know if or when they had a ban on minors when it came to the purchase of such

  All I know, now that I look back , it would seem rediculous to allow

  an under aged youth to smoke the very thing they could not purchase

  .

  .

  The Gov. in our state catered to the tobacco industry

  years ago anyone who ran against a supporter of the tobacco industry

  would lose the race

  .

  .

  Who would have thought that at one time doctors were said to have endorsed this behavior

  .

  .

  It shows that the world ain't such a bad place after all . We do improve

  the new watchtower public edition titled "the war that chnaged the world" and the awake titled "how to invest your time wisely" for february are up.

  looks like they are still sticking to 1914. they do talk about the war and tie it in with the 1914 interpretation.. watchtower public:.

  i was thinking the other day, could the preaching work be another of the signs jesus mentioned when he said many would come in his name and.

  perform many powerful works in his name.. .

  At one time Atheist and Believers came together on this board

  and together proved the WTS to be false in what it taught

  Now it's a fight against each other becuase no one can prove either way

  there is a God or not. Faith is only for the stupid. It won't be tolerated

  .

  .

  Regaurdless of your belief. many don't want to be in a hostle environment

  ok i've read similar threads to this before, but i just thought i would share a comment made by an aunt.

  my aunts bible student died, and due to the families wishes the funeral service was given in another church.

  my aunt with a disgusted look on her face when recalling the events to me said "and you know what, they must of only spent about 5 minutes talking about the person, and the rest of it was about the church".
