In the Reasoning from the Scriptures book on page 71 it states that the eating of blood is equated with idolatry and fornication.

who's decision was it to say in the August 2006 Awake, that we could do a fraction of idolatry and fornication ?

August 2006 Awake states on pages 11 -12

" As for the various fractions derived from those components- and products that contain such fractions-

the Bible does not comment on these. Therefore, each witness makes his own personal decision on such matters."

Hi Moshe,

The WTS agrees with you 100%, according to their " August 2006, Awake "

on the bottom of page 11, starting at the last sentence and continuing on

to page 12 they say the same thing about fractions as you just mentioned about blood.

so under these terms blood transfusions should not be banned. Bane can look this up

for himself. It's the WTS own words.

one jw posted a comment about how they started laughing as their plane suffered some turbulence.

the jw asked if that was a strange reaction while all of the other passengers gasped.. another jw replied to the comment with this:.

i don't want to sound like i'm whining and for the record, i'm not mad at my parents at all.

i love them dearly, and i have many fond memories of my youth despite the jw upbringing.

at the same time, i often wonder what it would have been like to play sports during my school days.

i'm afraid of starting a new post because i've stepped on a few feet here with my last post... but i still love you guys.. last night i went home to find my wife and her friend on the couch with the bible, ready to show me how i'm wrong and exercising "apostate thinking".

my wife said, "i am unable to fight you with the bible because you know more than me about it.

but k** knows more and will be able to show you how you are wrong.. so my wife went into the other room so as not to be stumbled by my discussion.

since you and your wife are at odds when it comes to religion,

have a limited amount of time per day or even out of a whole week

to discuss it. After that put it on the back burner , come together on

things dealing with making family time better for the both of you, do

something that you know will make the whole family happy, stay away

from anything dealing with religion, if you need to vent about that we're

here, right now it's a sensitive spot in your marriage, don't keep pokin' that sore spot

Are Dubs just getting lazy?

The False Prophet Nathan?

my mom is addicted to the wts.

i've recently brought up the many false prophecies and she calls almost every week to show me new things that the society has said about false prophets and how they are not one.. the latest was the account where king david wanted to build god a temple.

he told nathan the prophet about his idea and nathan basically said, well god is with you, you should do it.
