  Can JWs Be DF'd Just For Believing Differently?

  Why not, did you think tha the WT will just seat and wait only from the money that gets from her followers to survive?

  The best investments is in war technology since US presidence have a sympathy in creating wars(Korea, Vietnam, Irag, Yugoslavia, just to name a few) and since US is the number one country in the World as an exporter in weapons(and that is why has created many other wars in the World in order to sell their weapons).

  Since the WT knows that there is no End in the World(the only end that I see it is the end of my life!!!) has made the PERFECT INVESTMENT for their money.

  Well done Watchtower, keep up the good work

  Why JWs have a hard time leaving the organization

  the other day i saw a post by a therapist asking why jws have such a hard time leaving the organization.

  i searched but could not find the thread.

  i wanted to answer, but i could not think of a good answer.

  Most of it is the fear that loosing your family and friends. This is what keeps many JW's inside the Org dispite if what they beleive regarding the Org.

  Better to stay in a system that is Cultish rather tahn seeking out the truth and live a normal life

  The coming "disassociations"

  i have seen several threads about how the elders are going to be going around asking people if they still consider themselves to be jehovah's witnesses.

  this will undoubtedly result in multiple da announcements in the coming months.

  i'm curious how the average jw will perceive this and respond to it.

  It is obvious that the WT is trying to get ride of all the crap(innactive ones!!!) in order to show that God is cleaning he's Org in the"last days"

  From my personal experience shows that they will do their best for this. I personally(almost innactive and attending to the meetings 1-2 times a month) had shepperding visits the last 3 months. Almost one visit every month, in order to start attending ALL of their meetings and go again to the field service(something that I stoped before 3 years). Telling me that the end is near(actually it has been near for the past 140 years of the WT history) and that I will be responsible if my familly dies in Arrmagedon...

  Elders were pushing me to give them a Sunday morning so we can go from house to house...they even fixed for me the date but I never apeared that date.

  It seems that they are eager to find out if I will follow their dirrections or I will be send out from the Org because my personal file, that is in my Bethel's country(perhaps and in Brooklyn) shows that I had "questions" that I shouldn't - 587 Jerusalim destruction, and Russell's pyramidologies

  I'm sure that the GB needs to get rid all of those they are not COMPLETELY in line and just like before (1975)they will say that Jehovah is cleaning their Organization(which apparently means that God DOESN'T have anything better than Cleaning a bunch of Phsycho's located in Brooklyn)

  too bad you took a week off on you running critique of the weekly ``spiritual meal'' known as the wt study.

  this time around you would have learned that jws are cleaner and less profane when using a public facility (stadium) than a pack of rabid football fans... what a revelation!

  The WT are clever in getting money

  I remember in my country the Congregation I grew up that:

  The land that was build was donated by an old brother that had no children...so the land is FREE

  The labour was done from us which again we have ...FREE LABOUR

  We have contributed with our money for the Building materials..FREE BUILDING MATERIALS

  So the WTS actually has not put her hand in her pockets for our Kindomn Hall

  So after 22 years(and 2 renovations that we have paid) we pay every month about 100Euros as a rend for the WT.Plus we had 1 congregation when we build it now 3 congregations share the same building...

  You don't have to be an accountant to see how much money does WT gets from the "sheep"

  Recovering from shunning Part 2

  one thing i found effective to recover from shunning by the jws, which devastated me, was this truth.

  people tend to move in "tribes.

  " i had been in a rather exotic and weird tribe, the watchtower and jehovah's witnesses.

  You are from the lucky ones that still not all of your family are in the Borg.

  Imagine us that all of our families are still in...

  About Christmas I enjoy this time of the year wishing merry Christmas to everyone...I was feeling like a fish out of the water when people wish you merry christmas or happy new year and say nothing to them.

  The Org has turn us into unsocial personalities, out of this world...by the way here is a nice joke regarding your post:

  6 months out and at times doubtful

  it was in may of this year that i resigned as a minsterial servant and stopped attending jw meetings.

  i made a fairly clean break from my congregation without the typical disassociation process.

  while some areas of my exit were very smooth others were extremely difficult.

  I had the same problem although I'm not disassociate from JW I attend meetings 1-2 times a month only. I step down from all the "privalages" I had(elder) Mainly I "stay" because of my sick father who was CO. So I decided to fade out.

  Trying to talk to your wife wouldn't work. The Victims of the WT have to realize by themselfs that they are in a false religion. If you try to point out their wrong way they will responce negatively(doubt it is from Satan) and turn against you. NO MATTER WHAT YOU SHOW THEM from old Books (Russell's, Rutherford's) that the WT has been a false prophet and a big hoax they WILL NOT UNDERSTAND. They are blinded by the WT.

  Your only hope is God to help them. Maybe it would have been better if you started very slowly to point out one error or show your point as a question. For example you could have said to our wife:

  "It is very strange but Russell used the Pyramids as God's Witness for he's prophesies it something that concerns me, since no prophesy of Russell has been fullfield"

  No matter what don't go directly against them.

  My best excuse is WORK

  So when elders ask me with that Sherlok Holms look: 'We haven't see you at the meetings lately" I always say the same answer. I WORK

  I hope very soon I will add something more to my answer:

  DO YOU KNOW WHY I NEED TO WORK 14 HOURS A DAY? BECAUSE I SPENT MY BEST YEARS AS A PIONEER PREACHING THE FANTASY OF A BUNCH OF FALSE PROPHETS IN BROOKLYN? THAT IS WHY I WORKED SO HARD BECAUSE NO ONE HIRES A PERSON WITH NO CERTIFICATES. BECAUSE THAT FALSE PROPHETS PROMISED ME THAT I WILL NOT NEED HIGHER EDUCATION SINCE THE END IS NEAR, AND BY BECOMING PIONEER I WOULD HAVE A CERTAIN FUTURE...

  BUT I TELL YOU WHAT IS MY FUTURE...TO WORK 14 HOURS A DAY UNTIL I DIE JUST EARN THE NECCECARY THINGS IN LIFE... THAT IS MY FUTURE
