the world could be in chaos around them but not missing a meeting is what's most important.

children of jws could be going thru teenage trauma or even molestation, but are they getting their "time" in??

Another example of WTS anthropology - The Flood and racial differences

here is another paradox resulting from the wts stand on the flood:

1. jws seriously believe in 2370 bc as the date of the flood

2. they also believe that by the 1st century ad racial differences had been well developed (i mean differences in the outward appearance of course, and not their early racist views for instance).

We Greeks had our own language and civilization long before the Jews came to an existense as a nation. For instanse the Minoan Kingdom that was very advanced in language and writtng. Lasted from 2200 b.c and was distroyed by a volcano sea wave around 1600 b.c.

Not to mention the Egyptians that they build the Pyramids 200 year before the flood and they use to had their own language and the writing the hieroglyphics. Plus the Egyptians do have WRITTEN records of their rulers dating back 7000 years ago!!! And guess what! The language was not hebrew that was supposed to be according to the WT the oldest language in the world.

The Chineese also have a language and writting going back 5000 years with written records, not to mention India that has also a long history.

So instead of sitting back and FACING the facts WT still believes and accepts the Bible dating as the ABSOLUTE in the world. Because they have created a system of chronology so complicated they cannot accept the real facts.

Instead of seeing the real meaning of the Bible they are trapped in details and useless dating

in 1998 the international olympic commitee gave to greece the honour to organize the 2004 olympics.

since that date and just before the opening of the olympic games u.s and u.k media were acting with paranoia against greece(hellas).

with the end of the olympics we knew that we have done it.

In 1998 the International Olympic Commitee gave to Greece the honour to organize the 2004 Olympics. Since that date and just before the opening of the Olympic games U.S and U.K media were acting with paranoia against Greece(Hellas). Every bitter word you can imagine were against my country.

That they were going to be the worst Olympic games, with terrorist attacks, very badly organized, even they were saying that in the end the 2004 Olympics will go back to Sydney because Athens wasn't going to be ready. All this 6 years we didn't said anything. We just waited untill the end of the Games to give the right answer with our works.

All the world said that Athens 2004 Olympics were the best. That a small counrty like Helllas can make miracles. But we are happy to see that the U.S media like CNN, Washington Post N.Y.Times, BBC and others came to ask for appologies and we accept their sorry. One article said Sygnomi(sorry) Hellas. For us the Greek people is more than enough because we know how to forgive. It is in our nature.

It is in our nature because this nature have been the same for the past 4000 years. A really heavy heritage that we Greeks carry. We have fight with countries and armies much bigger than we are. Like the Persians that they were numbered almost a million army 2600 years ago, and Greece had just 150.000 against that mighty army. But we at the battle of Marathon we were the winners.

We have gave to mankind the principle of Democracy 2500 years before, art, music, theatre, philosophy, mathematics, poetry. We were very well aware of our history and how we Greeks are proud of it. Besides we were the ones who invented the Olympic games 2700 ago, and we knew very well that for us there was only one way...TO MAKE THE BEST OLYMPICS EVER, and we have done it.

The authors of CNN and the rest media the have forget something: That when we were writting history their ancestors were hanging from the trees!!!

We are the ones that have the Olympic flame and we can make it shine brighter. That Flame has travel ALL over the world with the message of brotherhood and friendship...Pass the flame unite the world...were the lyrics of the song that was travelling with the flame.

With the end of the Olympics we knew that we have done it. We knew that we were going to be the winners of this games knowing that our herritage will pass for the next generations to come.

Spiritual Search Had Consequences

Indeed it is a sad story and I feel sympathy for this guy.

Knowing that sooner or later I will have the same ending. Unfortunately the Witchtower has broken years of friendships and family relations in a way that no other religion has done before.

I know that sooner or later my family will brake down because of my decision not to support the WT anymore. Four years have gone by since I my research leaded me to find out that WT it is just another False prophet made in U.S.A.

I don't know how my 2 children will respond to my decision to leave the WT. I love them so much and I really can't tell what will hapened when I will be no longer a Jw.

How Many Here Are "Technically" Still JWs???... Who's Not??

what i mean is according to the society, there are a number of persons that are "technically" "inactive" yet are viewed as jws still.

i'm sure that i'm viewed as a witness still because i am not df'd or disassociated.....what about you??

Techinically I am a JW!!!

It is strange that they haven't disfellowship me yet. I talk with the elders of the my cong regarding my doubts(587 -1914 and Russells funny ideas about numerology and pyramids). Then I talk with the Circuit Overseer and the District Overseer the same matter. After that I started the fading out process.

I go once a month to the meetings and report 1 hour field service 2 magazines and one recall visit for the past 3 years!!!

Why they don't do anything since they know all about me still don't know

Do JW really spy on people in the congregation?

do elders or any other members of a congregation actively spy on others?

is this encouraged if so?

SPY? The all JW stracture it is founded on SPYING...

Everybody spies each other:

Elders spy other elders

Publishers do the same

Parents their children (if they have ciggarets -condoms in their school backs or any other clue that they are not doing God's will)

Everyone who is in the Watchtower world it is been under spy because everyone maybe doing something wrong and try to hide it. So in the Watchtower wolrd everyone could be:

An adulterer, homosexual, liar, thief, smoking, have unclean condact, masturbate, made a blood trasfussion in the past and hide it, and most importand from all an APOSTATE.

Besides the Masters in spying is the GB. Remember Ray Franz!!!

Real 'truth' for many aging witnesses.

It is a sad thing to see this older people ending up like that. Most of all I feel sympathy for them because they were cheated by false hopes made by the Watchtower leaders, that soon they will be in the earthly paradise and all your problems will disappear!!!

Specially when you see this happening in your family it is even more sad. My dad (that spend his life as a full time pioneer and elder, went to Gilead) now he is 80 years old and still he is saying that Armageddon it is just around the corner.

From 1954 that he became a JW 50 years have past and still he believes strongly what those liars in Brooklyn are saying. He didn'r cared so much about his children (and I'm talking about education and for the future)because he couldn't see any other future beside the future of the WT. He didn't care much about retirement and when he will get old and now he has financial difficulties. In my fathers case reminds me an old Greek saying "don't put your eggs in one basket"

He trasted the WT and spend most of his life believing them. NOTHING came true and now all I see is an old man expecting to see Armageddon.

I just can imagine how many other thousands JW in the world may have even worst situation regarding this matter.

Even if Russell wasn't a freemson still the Watchtower and Russell at their begining they have too many conections with Occult. Specially the way that they were explaining prophecies, and I talk about pyramidology which is a masoning and occcult religion.

Even if the Watchtower and Russell they were just borrowing ideas from freemasons still they are influenced from it.

But what makes me really wonder is that there are just too many connections with this two. Plus how come a 17 year old guy managed to set up a religion in such quick way trough out America in the late 1800's and managed to write all this books and sermons. Something does not fit here. And why did he used Masonic symbols and terms in his puplished books?

I find it very hard to accept that the Watchtower does not have or used to have connections with the illuminati.
