today is a day to remember what happened before 93 years in turkey.

over of 1.5 millions armenians were massacred by the turks, in one of the most brudal genocides of the 20th century.

there are no words to describe what savage ways did the turks used against the armenian population.. today 93 years after armenians demand the recognition of the genocide by turkey and international community, the return of the armenians to their ancestral land, and the condemnation and punishment of the crime to prevent the occurance of such crimes in the future.

I agree with you dogisgod...If we just pretend that nothing happened we are also guilty. Indeed there were genocides in many places in the world. We have the power and we must fight for those victims. I have seen the Turkish brutality from first hand, when Turkey invated my country in 1974. Cyprus a small Island of 500,000 people and occupies ever since with the power of the U.S. weapons the 37% of the land

There was ethnic cleansing, killing old men and small children. A total of 10,000 people killed, and 200,000 violently they cast way from their homes and became refugees in their own land. 1750 missing persons and for 34 years Turkey refuses to tell us what they have done with them. And in this persons we have infants!!!

Citizens of the world it is time to take the future in our hands. It is time to get rid of all this politicians, and the few multinational companies that they are controling the world. If we go against their will they can't do anything. They can't make another war, or destroy the earth with the polution if we resist agains them and the matrix that they are offering to us.

Turkey refuses stubbornly the crime that they have commited and distorts history. Anyone in Turkey saying that there was a genocide according to a law it commits crime!!!Turkey MUST face their bloody past and this is the only way. Turkey is guilty for killing 1.5 million Armenians, and 0.5 millions Greeks, plus other minorities in the land that we call it Minor Asia. A land that for thousands of years shared by many cultures. Turkey the masters of Ethnic Cleansing brudaly vanished all those cultures in order to maintain a "pure" Turkish nation, and most of all tried to vanish from the face of the land in Minor Asia all Christian history, monuments, and anything had to do with Christianity

Forgetting those people is like killing them twice. Our duty to the victims is to remember them and fight for their right that they have been victims of a Genocide

Cutting of BS following WT plan: No more personal study or research!

since it seems the cats out of the bag on the book study being eliminated from small groups at homes, i feel it ok to discuss the "why" of the society's actions on this manner.

many seem to be confused as to why the wt would eliminate another evening of busywork.

some see it as a loosening of the riens on the wt's part to let the congregation breathe.....i see it as the complete opposite....i see it as another control tactic, one that has been in the works for a while.

I agree with you. I do recall the good old times (the 80's and early 90's)how did we allowed to make research, and families gathering together to study the WT article study. I left with the start of the new millenium. Indeed I can see from my possition how do the GB is trying to get TOTAL control over the JW's.

I believe the book study it was the best thing in the WT world. It was in family inviroment and it build relations between the JW's. Only future will show the impact of this change on the JW's.

Personally I believe is a negative developement and it will turn WT more culitsh than ever.

The Patriach enters the Holy Grave and in limited short time he comes out with the candles that light in a mysterious way. Then at the Temple of Resurrection we have the appearance of the Holy Fire that lights the candles on the Church and the candles of the faithful ones. You can touch this light without get burned for 33 minutes...

Many have question this mystery and claimed that is fake. But there are many aspects that show the opposite. First the Holy Grave is sealed by the Israel Police, and during the Holy Week no one can enters. The Patriach of Jerusalim before entering the Holy Grave he is being checked by the Israel Police, in case that he is carrying any suspicious item to light the candles

Plus there are representatives from other Christian Dominations to observe the miracle or mystery. There are Roman Catholics, Armenians, Maronites, just to mention few. The Holy Fire appears only to the Christian Orthodox Church, despite the fact that the other dominations are using the Temple. As a result the Holy Fire came out from a column inside the Temple leaving a crack as a witness for those who question the miracle.

For us the Apostolic Catholic Orthodox Church Christians the Holy Fire is a witness for more than 1600 years that indeed the Early Apostolic Church stands there for 2000 years defending Christianity and keeping the faith as it was delivered by the Apostles and their succesors. Because for us Christ is a living God, that heals our souls and freeing us from the sin.

This Holy Week of Jesus Passion we are living Jesus, because Jesus is not just having knowledge of Him, it includes more than that. It includes faith and accepting the Blood and Flesh of our Saviour to become one with Him, and to invite Him to our live through the Holy Spirit. This is the faith that was kept through the last 2000 years that Jesus is the Light of this world.

She believes in god's organization?!? I'm getting a divorce!

i never thought my live & let live attitude on religion would have screwed up things this bad.

i'm trying to help my wife find her way out, but i spoke with her tonite & she really believes in the "organization".

can i, in all honesty stay married to someone who essentially knows the bible, has read john 14, but believes the organization is your only path to salvation?

Oh boy...here we go again. I can feel your situation. I had exactly the same one like you. My wife believes in "God's" organization and that she will be saved by following a banch of old guys made in U.S.A claiming that they are "God's" mouthpiece..shame who does the Witchtower destroyed our lifes and family.

There is 2 years almost that we have separated. I don't know about the laws in your country but in mine, when there is a separation of 5 years then there is automatically divorce...

So I don't feel going to court and pay lawyers, I will just wait for another 3 years...I don't know if you have children (like me) but that will be the real problem. Specially when the other part blindly follows the Org and turns the kids against you. It happened with me, and unfortunately I cannot go to court and claim their custody since they are small. I'm trying to show them with love that God love us all, and He is kind, and not a massive killer...

Was it 1914 that Russell claimed that the end would come? The WT "forgets" to tell us that the dates were based on counting the Pyramids!!!This is called OCCULT?Then it was again in 1916, and again in 1918....

Was it Rutherford that claimed that millions living will never die in 1925, and he got himself a nice villa in California waiting for the Prophets to resurrected? He waited until 1942 when he claimed that the big A was coming, but he died. Then it was 1975...DID YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO BE AROUND AT THAT ERA scholar??? I was 8 at that time and I do recall all the anxiety for the end...THE END DIDN'T COME...WHO CREATE THIS FEELING TO THE JW'S? Wasn't it the FDS??? Then it was the 80's??? Do you realize that the GB is sinning against the Holy Spirit?? How can they blame all of their wrong expectations and explanations to the Holy Spirit? Was it Jesus that said to Luke 21:8 "many will come in my name and will say that the END is near...DO NOT FOLLOW THEM"

Ever since the early days of the WT from 1874 they are claiming the end is near!!! WHY DO YOU FOLLOW THEM?

Many people from this forum they have their lifes destroyed due to the WT policy...many lost friends and family like me,and in my late 30's I'm trying to start a new life way from the WT madness...I have followed WT because I believed in them...The result is I have NOTHING...No friends, NO FAMILY, my 2 small children are growing with my ex-JW wife, and I have NO right to talk to them. With no money and a job that does not give me enough money because I have stayed without education, working 14 hours a day fighting for my daily bread. If I did have money and a place to stay I would have taken my blind-brain washed wife, to court and take the custody for my children...but WT knows very well how to destroyed lifes and innocent people...

By the way since you claim to be scholar who gave you the Bible that you have? Who set the Biblical Cannon?

Does any were in the Bible tell us the only the Bible is the basis for the Christian faith?

Does the Bible claims not to have mistakes?

Very nice comments...I just can believe how do the Greek JW's eat this interpretation of "light". Specially when it comes to the explanation of the word "parousia"...

I mean parousia means presence, so how can it be an invisible one!!! How can someone be present and at the same time been invisible, but again he is present for those who did seen him coming invisibly, but the rest of the world didn't see Jesus invisible presence!!! Only Russell did and a banch of american fools dressed in white robes and they were waiting for Jesus to come but visibly, and since He didn't come they change their mind and said He came invisibly, and only they have seen Him....

Boy the leadership of the WT are NUTS...a banch of old pathetic False Prophets, loosers, a banch of thieves...that's what they are

It is a shame how do Church leaders they put above everything their Church public image. This are the main similarities between the Pope and Watchtower leaders, since both are trying to save their public images.

No matter what is the cost, above all is the safety of the children and their protection against any molester. Children are above any religious leadeship and above the image of any Church, that is why they should be protected.

You find all kinds of people in any religion, either is called Christian or Budhist, or Muslim. You will find abusers in all of them, as you will find descent people among all of the religions. The point is how does the leadership on each on of them response to the problem of Child Abuse? Do they cover up the issue in order to save their pupblic image and pretending that nothing happened? Or no matter the cost they report abusers to the authorities so that they will stand on trial against their evil actions?

I believe the religion and specially Christian dominations should stand as a guardians against any child abusers...
