  This Is So Weird----We Don't Miss Even A Little Bit----Our Being Witnesses!

  my wife and i were talking today about how we just don't miss the meetings, the service, the association..... we miss nothing.

  she's been a jw for over 25 years and i've been for more than 45 years----and once we simply stopped going, there was no sadness, no questioning our decision.

  it's almost like we are carrying on as if we were never witnesses.

  I really feel the same...I MISS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THE WT

  What to miss the same old crap from some old men that they live in Brooklyn, and they believe that they were choosen from God!!!

  The following words were part of our daily lifes and we were listening to them over and over again:

  Faithfull and discreet slave, truth, Jehovah, 607, 537, 1914, 1919, 1935, enemies of God, unfaithfull, APOSTATE(my favoured) Organization, field service, pioneering, hours, heavenly class, 144.000 saints, other sheep, THE END IS NEAR(my second favoured)

  I'm sure that we really have get rid all these craps from our lifes

  ok, so armageddon didn't come before the generation of 1914 grew old and died.

  but does that mean that the big a isn't near?

  When i was at the one day assembley few weeks ago, in a talk the speaker said that the generation of 1914 will see the end.

  I was suprised...they bring the generation back I said!!!

  Still I DON'T beleive that they have set this new date-2035. It is just another trick to scare their followers.

  Besides there is no reasoning in the WT theology...

  I have so many staff to do that I have no time to think of those boring and miserable years of the WT slavoury.

  The most boring part of a JW life: MEETINGS

  Meetings were young children are beaten by their "parents" because they just can't sit their asses, without moving for 2 hours and doing absolutely NOTHING.

  My God, we came out alive from them!!!

  Since my break away of the WT I realize that there are so many colours in our lifes that I never thought about them. So many things to think about, and you feel that the gates of knowledge are open. But my favored colour is BLUE

  BLUE:Is the sky that is above me and it is alaways so nice under the Mediterranean Sea

  BLUE:Is the sea that is always so strange and reminds me of a woman.

  BLUE:Are the eyes of my 2 daughters

  BLUE:Are the eyes of my wife

  BLUE:Is the flag of my country GREECE.

  And that BLUE FLAG reminds me what is really to be free. And the Heritage of thousands of years that I hold on through the centuries.

  GREECE: The land were Democracy was born before 2500 years

  The land the FREEDOM OF SPEECH and THOUGHT was one of the basic right of each person

  The place of the OLYMPIC games, were all the wars had to stop when the games started.

  How to resign as an elder?

  You can say that you have financial problems and you are missing some of the meetings, and you cannot respond anymore of the "elders duties". Say that this is only temporary until you will recover from the financial mess you are into.

  This is step one

  Step 2: Start missing meetings starting with the Theocratic Minestry, then the Watchtower, and finally the book study. From time to time you can attend to the puplic talk of the C.O's, and never miss a Memorial. The JW's appreciate when you attend to their Memorial and they will say that Brother X is still showing some appreciation for the spiritual things!!!

  NEVER say that you have DOUBTS (they come from the devil)

  NEVER question the GB. That is an AUTOMATIC WAY to be disfellowship

  How many have left the WTS and joined another church/group?

  at this point in my life i don't think i could trust any religious group.

  i don't even feel the need to be a part of anything like that right now, and maybe never will.. but i know of some who have joined other churches/groups since leaving the borg.. why do some join another religion and why won't some ever get involved again?.

  I'm inactive JW and I started to follow the Greek Orthodox Church. It wasn't very difficult to do this. The WT was just another fake religion that know nothing what Cristianity really stands for. It was very funny to me the fact that WT accepts the Bible Canon and the Books that form the Bible and does NOT accept those who SET it. And that was the Greek Orthodox Church in Nicaia. While WT accuses the foundation of the Christian Church and does not accept the Apostolic Succesion that was established by Apostole Paul through the Holy Spirit, still WT ACCEPTS the Books of BIBLE that thery were set from those that WT accuses as APOSTATES from the True Teachings of Christ. Doesn't make sence!!!
