one afternoon a wealthy governing body member was riding in his limousine when he saw two men, on all fours alongside the road, eating grass.

disturbed at the site, the gb member ordered his driver to stop and then got out to investigate.

the gb member asked the first man "sir, why are you eating the grass.

i found these two references very interesting.....i reflected on the mentality of the witnesses in my old congregations in janesville, wisconsin....i realised they weren't a 'happy' people because they had the "truth", they were in truth happy because of being all medicated (prozac).

Prince has recorded "Kingdom Melody" No 15

apparently he couldnt sleep, so one night he popped into his studio and recorded km number 15, with drums, bass, piano and jazz guitar.

i've heard that its been copied and handed around a select few (according to jw's on a prince website).

i wonder if he's gonna get punished for this.

Did the millenium turning and 9/11 make you think about armageddon?

i was thinking back the other day to new years eve 1999. it was a few hours before midnight.

i was in the virgin islands drinking with my girlfriend and some friends and i started to freak out.

i started thinking that maybe christ would return that night, maybe armageddon would come and the earth would be turned inside out and i would die that very night.

Dooms day cults like JW trying to find an excuse to bring the world to an end.

WT has FAILED in ALL the prophecies they have told to take place:

U.N in fact today it is in the worst possition since they have been established after WWII.

U.S. it is the one who controls U.N and in recent events shows that. US strikes any country feels to do so(Yugosalvia, Afganistan, Iraq)without any U.N. resolutions. After the fall of Communism there is only one superpower that is in control and that is U.S. Similar like the Roman Empire that was dominating the world, U.S does whatever likes to do. No matter what is the cost of innocent Human lifes.

The W.T has no CLUE(prophetically speaking) what it will happened. The fall of communism (king of North VS South)has ended up ALL WT prophecies.

9/11 was a terrorist act, thats all.

The End of the millenium it is just an hypothetic human timing(and in this case Christian) starting from Jesus Birth. Muslims have different year, Chineese also another.

my mother told me that the co gave a talk on how a spider spins his web and it can take a very long time for the web to be made but just like that--- before you know it---it can catch its prey and devour it.

it's the same with the world wide web, the internet.

there are reports, according to the co, that in new york, a very prominent "anointed" man was disfellowshipped and he has his owm website where he has answered many jws questions.

The WT it seems confused regarding the Net, plus that many are leaving WT because of the internet. Once I remember that in puplic talk the speaker said that apostates are traping thousands every year and they leave Gods Organization!!!

So the only thing they can do it is to demonized internet.

The TRUTH for dummies. Chapter 1

being only newly freed from the wts, there are many people who were my friends that i would like to be able to explain the truth about many of the points raised on this board.

so i have decided to compile a publication that i can mail to them with short succinct, hardhitting reasoning on areas where the wts is misleading them and also areas where they are saying one thing but practising another.

i would like to be able to limit the explanations to one topic per page with the hope that if there is not too much too read they may just bother to read it.

The point about the cross is:

A. At the gospels we read that the Romans put a sign over the head of Jesus. So the hands of the Lord were at T position, in order to have the sign above the head, NOT an I possition as the W.T teaches. By the way the GB don't have someone who knows Greek there!!!

B.Also saint Paul said that Cross was an honor and salvation to the Christians and was a subject of hate to the Jews.
