I thought it was about active in the cong. However as contrary to the JW thoughts I work out at a gym 4 days a week 3 hours and I haven't told anyone I do that cause they have said is a waste of time so I keep it for myself. I ride my bike for at least one hour daily and because I was in sports throughout school I competed in track and soccer it was fun the best time of my life so far achieving great goals as a JW meant not sharing your accomplishments with anyone. I always act tupid like I don't know how to play basketball and beat them all the time is fun. Active as you can call it yeah no big deal in the cong yeah especially in field service yes that too.

if you took a snap shot of the last five days, can you find moments of exercise or doing something besides sitting in front of the computer, lifting a remote or fork, or perhaps walking to get the mail?

Yeah, many times there is a brother who doesn't likes me cause When i got to that cong I was 20 and got baptized a year later and he has a daughter who is 20 some and hasn't got baptized so he grew mad at me for that reason he rarely gives me any comment I have to raise my hand 10 times no kidding and sometimes I do get 1 when my hand is the only 1 up. So he still hates me and tries to correct me.
He is so mad at me and her daughter said that ther dad an elder is so strict she couldn't cut her hair short until 18 couldn't well you all know the rules they go by. Once I missed 3 meetings cause of work and he said that i I committed a wrongdoing he was there to help me and he even went to said in Local needs that being reproved or disfellowshipped was a loving arrangement by God and we should show disposition to be lovingly corrected by the elders. Since I don't believe in that concept he is lost with me he won't get anything from me. he thought I was newly converted and suggested That I didn't know enough to have gotten baptized, tell your daughter about it she said she won't get baptized until she finish college settles down and finds a husband but she will find a wordly most likely so he again is lost. They are alway talking about the big A and her daughter won't live to see the salvation of all baptized members sick as you know.
I do make good comments but I don't want to sound that I know more or that I'm very spiritual I comment to God but to any of them but at the meetings they all fight for that as well so just hanging in there brothers. peace Robson enjoyed this.

Angels are all male?
by sabastious ingenesis 6: 1, 2 - 1 when human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of god saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.. so angels are only attracted to female humans.. anyone else find this extremely telling?.

That's a great thought keep on searching and you will find what you need in respect to the matter of angels being all males with some exclusions I believe we have to consider biblical history. let me start with my explanation.
As we all know God created angels bigger than humans meaning more powerful and to some degree above our beings which is hard to understand deeply so they were created first. Then, we came into the picture we were made a little less that angels we got that right class. They were looking down to earth when God was creating everything the universe and our diversity so being made with incredible powers so to speak they are suppossed to be able to create things they saw God creating makes sense I hope it does. The answer they angels know our body composition and they created a body for themselves a male body cause the bible tells of them looking at the daughters of men so there it goes they could have created a body for their purposes without changing their true nature which is one that cannot be categorized by gender. hard to believe right.

To serving elders and anyone else who went to the SM this week ...
by wannabefree injw serving elders ... did any of you have to handle the part at the sm this week on why jehovah's witnesses are not a false prophet?.
this part made me livid.
our most corporate elder handled this part and i felt my self wanting to refute everything he said.

Yeah, it seems all of them came with the same explanations an elder from my cong explained the events that occurred in 1975 as expectations by a group of people who wanted the end to come but forgot about the scripture that no one knows the hour only Almighty God himself and he continued to point out that human reasoning was involved and we in our own publications never said we are an inspired prophet so there is no way we can be false prophets. He concluded, with a biblical text Matthew 7:15 and John 5:28 explaining both but centering in the resurrection as our inspiration to remain inside the org as the only way to salvation.
I know this elder for many years he lost his parents when he was an infant and our only hope is to wait on Jehovah so anybody can say we are false prophets but we don't follow men only God and he has promised us humans to wait on him and see our salvation.
He said, those who are false prophets have no delight in the good news but want you to feel worst than what they are and if we follow them we know where they go. This is God's people you remain where there is a high moral conduct and serve god with a clean conscience and as a young man you keep yourself clean from the things we had done and suffered and you will prosper. At the end, he said you stay with us you suffer as christ did or you go to the world and suffer with them. He is a real brother.
He doesn't talks about things like all the others he only focuses in God's glory.

sometimes brothers throw comments that are directed to them some also say that they won't survive the GT and will surely die when A comes.
So you know the story. I think they judge all the time for whatever you do. Pathetic.

well, that is way up to where I'll ever get with my family so there is no such thing as turning me into the elders.
Last night I was talking to my Dad about all we know from the WBTS he is been in the org since 1980's he started when he was in his 20's and still he is inside going to meetings and going to field service he is a great preacher many people has agreed with my Dad about what the bible teaches is the only ultimate truth he gets great responses from the public. He knows not all of the brothers are real brothers and many of them don't really care about the congregation we go to, they go there for different reasons. Basically, he is aware about what is going on around and that doesn't bother him what does bothers him is the fact that as jesus said you are my disciples if you have love among yourselves but he doesn't sees that genuine love is hard to get.
Well a lesson I learned from old bros at the hall is that when they came to the org whatever it was that got them interested in joining the cong is still keeping them from leaving the org. So we are false prophets yes you can call us anything you want but there is no where else where I come and render sacred service to God with a good conscience. Anything I have to go through is worth it. Yes we prophecy the end many times and a lot of what we know but they didn't pay attention to the scriptures while doing so. In conclusion, Jehovah GOd promises everlasting life if we follow Jesus example and nothing else will get me away from the org. Although it has committed acts of any sort I follow God not men.
With this attitude they will remain there forever and that can be our live. Just decide what you believe.

if that's true then the biggest sinners are the watchtower corp. reading is so boring anyway (most the time) and if you wanna be a jw you have to read read read.

Good explanation, that's exactly why the truth ins't for many of us why should we have to go over things many times when Jesus said have love among yourselves and prove you are sons of the most high. Love is the quality not repetition memorization or anything that is robotic in a sense so to speak. But a good conscience nothing makes up for it, also keeping ourselves morally clean proves we are not animals. The message is there take what is best for you. Just my thoughts. Robson

No More Bookbags in Service?
by White Dove inevery time i see jw's in service, they are not carrying bookbags but rather plastic holders and small fold over purses to hold them.. what ever happened to the big ol' bookbag in service?.

Yeah, that was like 2 0r 3 years ago when I heard an elder telling me what to bring to field service a plastic holder and a small briefcase is enough the FDS is telling us to be more selective in our preaching techniques at that time I didn't pay attention to it.
later it was said that those who still were bringing briefcases to field service were not obeying the wise servant. One of them directly came to me and said mine was too big I told him elder as you know I speak 4 languages and in our area I get to place literature to people who speak what I speak that is why I have to carry this briefcase, he never mentioned nothing more.
I mean I'm not from the states and I speak to people they never spoke to so is like me a young bro who is illegal and can't have any privileges in the org witnessing to neighbors who enjoy a word in their language.
I had many dreams about being in the org and doing missionary work and so forth but since I got here and accidentally going online to check a scripture on google everything started to become doubtful in my mind. to this day I come to my senses and I see things differently so I don't know what to do anymore. out of context sorry needed to speak.

scary statement made by elders' wife
by shadowolf inso a few months ago i went with my family to meet for field service (ugh i hate it!!!).
so while we were meeting for service, an elders' wife began to talk about the 'great' spiritual food the fds had gave us at the recent dc.
she went on to say regarding info that the fds gives out "we have to follow it,even if we dont understand it, even if we dont agree with it.

That is scary no doubt about that my mind turns off when I listen to them but I'm know since there is something in it for them they say it to promote themselves in their group I don't really follow up with them.
Good thing God is not how they humans think only god knows what is going on.
I just remember they are humans and we are not to listen to any thing they have to say.
enjoy your time and don't let any of them scare you.
before I was always scared about going to meetings and listening words like destruction, armageddon, tribulation, follow the FDS, obey the ones taking the lead not doing so would mean God getting angry at me. and many more. Thank God no more I don't pay attention to them anymore.
