i have the info from macgregor ministries, freeminds, etc.., and the book the third reich.
however, of course, they are "biased".

The Witnesses quote King extensively, so there is no problem using her & her sources!

M James Penton is a respected academic & he should have his sources in Third Reich. If not, go to Christine King, who is not an ex-JW & is the foremost authority of JWs in 3rd Reich. Her book should be available in your nearest uni library.

by that, i mean you do not want to have children.. i have been told since birth it would not be safe for me to have children, so i never even considered it.
i never went through a grieving period because the concept of having babies was not something i once had and lost.
i always envisioned myself as a happy career woman.. i recently married and am still sure i don't want children.
Gosh Jill, sounds like your husband didn't have much choice in being a parent ...
I heard somewhere that people only accuse the childfree of selfishness because they damn well wish they could be that selfish! I second that! Having a child is the hardest thing I've ever done & I've had to confront my own selfishness in the process - a battle I am far from winning! Saying that, though, the overwhelming love I now have for my daughter is a life-enriching experience, & she is a cool kid! Wish I could have had a few more years to get ready for this thing ...

# 2 - I always felt like a naughty schoolgirl - there was absolutely no compassion or real interest from most of the elders.
I should say that there were one or two who were encouraging - especially Elder A, #7, who encouraged me to study WT books, which kept me in the 'troof' for another 3 years. I'm sure he had a big heart, but I'm not sure that it was in his chest ...

i could swallow the fact that only men were given main parts at the meeting (i wouldnt want them anyway) but that im humiliated every time i tried to give opinion or make a suggestion, is just beyond me.
in fact if i was even mildly persistent to make them see my point of view id be presented with that woman jezebel analogy.
This is just part of the inherent misogynism in the Bible. If you're interested, get hold of Judith Ochshorn's book, The Female Experience and the Nature of the Divine by Judith Ochshorn. Indiana University Press, Bloomington, 1981' - it is brilliant!
