An important question for active JW's

if you and a fellow jehovah's witness went to a house where the homeowner brought up a watchtower doctrine which you secretly disagree with, would you defend it or tell them what it is you really believe?.

either way you are at a loss.. defending something you disagree with is living a lie and telling a lie.

not defending it and telling the home owner what you really believe makes you an apostate by watchtower society standards.

Starting from a false Premise.

we often see "starting from a false premise" enacted on here.

believers will start from the basis that there is a god.. bible believers will start from the basis that it is the word of god in some measure, and worse are jw apologists, they pre-suppose that the first two are a given, and that their beloved property company posing as a religion is god's organization.. none of those premises have been proven, some have been disproven, but we are supposed to go along with them.. now, you may be happy to debate on that basis, in fact it is probably good "exercise", but in the end i find their arrogant, unproven assertions begin to really annoy me, and then i stick in what is known on here as a "cofty", which is a short, succinct comment that points out the big hole in their presentation.. the only thing you find then is, either the apologist cuts and runs, or totally ignores your "cofty".. i think, even if we enjoy debating for a while with such people, at a certain point we need to call them out on their false premise, or premises, otherwise a j.w lurking here may simply accept the words of the apologist and gain nothing in the way of truth..

from my 7th floor balcony ( next floor up is heaven )---i am looking out over the ocean---and---trust me folks--the earth IS FLAT !!

also--in the distance--i can see England--and it IS very small--so the Isle of Wight MUST be much bigger than England.

i joined a couple of jw dating facebook sites a few months back--they were funny when they first started--but quickly became over run with african dubs looking for western women. any posts of a slightly questioning nature were quickly met with a barrage of hatred from these fanatics.

and why do they all use the word JAH--? is this a wts approved abbreviation--?--why not jove --?

Jehovahs witnesses dont have the name of GOD right so how can they be his witnesses

the tetragrammaton ,does not appear anywhere in the christian greek scriptures see the new world kingdom interlinear translation.

the tetragrammaton translated in english is yhwh ( not jhvh) their is no j in hebrew.. the first edition of the book " aid to bible understanding" admits that the proper pronunciation of gods name is not known.. that they have used the name jehovah because it is the more popular name used in christendoms religions.

and they say christendoms religions are apostates / anti christs /babylon the great , can they have it both ways ?.

jehovah is a man made invention. therefore jeovahs witnesses are testifying to that fact. everything they believe in is man made---a myth--a fairy story. if it comforts them--so be it.

any half-way intelligent persons who were caught up in the hysteria are now leaving in droves---leaving the spear-wielding 3rd world lunatics to run the asylum.

Ran into an old JW friend at a club and....

it's been 1 year since my fade and exit from wts land... i wsa at a club last night and ran into an old female jw friend... has been at least 2 years since i last saw her...said hi to her from far away, but she ignored me awkwardly...then she comes up to me, and tells me she's been df'd... i was like no worries, i left the borg and i'm so much happier now.

i told her i won't judge her...she smiled and told me she's gonna try the life outside jw land.

a couple of drinks later, we started dancing...one thing led to another, and i took her to my apartment and had the most amazing sex.. .
