its a pity you cant usually see what other women put on dating sites---but trust me--they ALL say that. then they moan they cant get dates. go figure

for what its worth--i found my future partner through a dating site. and i'm going to a wedding reception next weekend--another female friend i met on a site--who met her hubby on the same site.

ive got several girlfriends on dating sites--like fish. they all say the same thing--the majority of guys on dating sites in the UK are married players looking for NSA sex. but they dont say it up front. ( except on "special interest " groups like fab swingers. ) the last thing they want to discuss is religion.

dont tell a new guy about your jw past--he wont be interested.

also----before you meet a guy--ask him for his home landline telephone number--so you can call him on it

I'm afraid I'd be single for life

this is quite embarrassing for me to share, but as a 30+ year old single female i have lingering doubts as to whether i can still meet a decent man and get married.. you all know how difficult it is for sisters to find an appropriate partner in the congregation.. and now, all the more so that i've learned ttatt.

i still am bound by low self-esteem, and i do have trust issues, especially with men.

i am very lonely and so i just keep myself busy with work to avoid depression (although it is also a great source of stress).. any other single females out there having similar thoughts?.

bigmac it sounds like you have enough adventures to write a book whilst you wait for your new lady's return.

@ Fernando---ha ha---well--i have used the chat-up line--"i'm writing a book about my sexual adventures-----would you like to be in the next chapter ?"

ive been married 3 times--ive been half a couple most of my adult life.

wife#1---is a born-in. i was 20 when we married----in order for us to be able to have sex. we had 3 kids--and divorced after 13 years. she lives nearby--but have no contact.

wife#2----was never a dub--not interested--in fact--hostile to the cult. we married when i was 36--and had 24 years together--good times and bad. she died 7 years ago.

wife#3---i married on the rebound--a year later. but i soon discovered most of what she told me about herself was lies---pure invention. i lost all trust in her--and the marriage failed.

i'm now engaged to wife-to-be #4. she is a delightful philipina lady i met here in the UK 2 &1/2 years ago. shes back in the philis now--awaiting her marriage annulment. if all goes to plan--i hope to have her with me within the next year.

i really dont like being single--gets lonely at times. i'm not one for visiting pubs ( bars ) on my own--so spend too much time on the internet--on sites like this.
