by thedepressedsoul ini've never met a group that turns on it's members like the jw's.
sister faithful that thinks she's anointed is now bat shit crazy with mental illness.
we all have known it's true, but now you have the wt, who put it in everyone's head that you can be anointed.

Yes they do. The Jehovahs Witnesses get insulted and they dont even realize it. The watchtower insults them. -

My mother has nervous breakdown because we missed the memorial.
by cookiemaster inmy parents insisted that i'd take them to the memorial.
my cousin said he'd come too and another brother who doesn't have a car begged to join.
i was dreading having to go through exactly the same thing again.

Memorial mixed emotions...
by Tornintwo indoes anyone else feel 'pulled back in' at this time of year?.
i still consider myself to a believer, believe in god and jesus christ, on the whole i think he taught tolerance, love, acceptance and i think we can benefit from following his example.
i love ray franzs book in search of christian freedom.

The official relationship between Jehovahs Witnessses and the Watchtower? I'm confused.
by Joliette incan anybody answer this for me?.
whenever i tell people i'm ex jehovahs witnesses, they always assume that i'm against the jehovahs witnesses, but i am more so against the watchtower then anything.people assume that i'm anti-jehovahs witness, but now that i've done more research i've realized that its the watchtower thats more harmful then the jehovahs witnesses, even though theres a lot of jehovahs witnesses i dont like, i'm not against jehovahs witnesses as a group.. can anyone explain this to me?.

Theres a lot of confusion when it comes to this. I always tell my brother I'm against the watchtower but he thinks I'm against Jehovah. -

Making friends in the "truth"
by Jordandemm inwhat is it about making friends in the organisation am i the only one who had found it tough?
don't get me wrong there was some good people but unfortunately there was also a lot of egotism, back stabbing, jealousy and gossiping.
i could never really fit in any group, everytime i thought i had found a group it was as if i would be sidelined or ditched.

Well, I'm 25% there, but I can't put in words how good I feel!!!!!!!!! Once I move to a different city I'll have this travesty of a religion out of my system, I'll be at 100%. Two more years, I'm 33 years old and more excited then ever. I have good things to look forward to and I will accomplish great things in my life.
I still stay five mins away from the kingdom hall that I used to go to, so I still see a lot of witnesses that I used to go the kingdom hall with, I never got baptized, and I hadn't been out in field service since like 2004. So leaving wasn't that difficult for me, its just the mind control that keep you there longer then anything. I never wanted to get married to ANYONE at the kingdom hall. I always was afraid I would be entrapped in a J dub marriage. That was my worse fear: To be in a J dub marriage. But I'm happy to be out. I can't hardly put in words :)

Steven Lett Governing body tells his Grandfather beaten for playing loud Rutherford records....Why??
by Witness 007 inat the international convention melbourne brother lett of the group 2 faithful slave told an emotional story of his grandfather on a sidewalk in texas playing a rutherford recording loudly till a irratated texan came out of a house, smashed the grammaphone and punched him in the face...if you ever heard rutherford you would know why.
for example religion is a snare and a racket invented by satan....no wonder they were banned..tarred and feathered...killed and put in jail playing the rantings of a maniac.
brother lett was proud of him...i pitty the fool.. .
