a child is disciplined (controlled) by parents, educators and custodial representatives.. as children we grow accustomed to this dynamic (being controlled for our own welfare) and we learn to adapt.. .
mind control is neutral in this context.. educators must seek to control the attention and comprehension and behavior of students.

JW sister tells me about 1975- amnesia strikes again!

she graduated from high school in 1976. during the 90 minutes i spent with her yesterday, she mentioned that the org never said the end was coming in 1975-" it was just a few who said that and they all left after 1976- which was good- because jah needed to cleanse the kh of all who were serving with just a date in mind.. i asked her, "don't you remember the assembly talk from 1969 or 1970, where the speaker said, "stay alive until 75"- no she didn't remember.. i explained that our kh had a co tell us from the platform," brothers there is only 18 months left until armageddon- wow, she exclaimed.. i continued my story, "the po's 16 year old son quit school in 1974- to become a regular pioneer- he was held up as a fine example in the cong- and used as an example at a circuit assembly that year of someone who putting jehovah's work first.

I had no idea how hard they PUSHED the 1975 date until only about a year ago. I started reading COC and thats when I really found out about the whole 1975 fiasco. I HAD NO IDEA. Our elder mentioned it once and said that IT WAS THE PEOPLE, basically the rank and file, who blew it out of proportion, that the society didnt say anything (he might not have said those words, but thats what he meant). Come to find out, I listen to a talk given by Fredrick Franz from 1975, AND IT BLEW ME AWAY!!!! I couldnt believe what I was hearing. He was basically saying that 1975 was an important year and that it was the end of man's 6000 years of existance. He didnt say that the world was ending but he pretty much hinted at the world ending WITHOUT COMING OUT AND SAYING AKA LOADED LANGUAGE. But thenin a kingdom ministry it said that the world was only going to be around for a few years. Not only is there documented proof that the WTBTS said that world wasnt going to be around after 1975, but theres also taped proof of it. The Watchtower worse enemy is the internet, time, and its own material.
I also recently found out about 1925, 1914, etc.
