I would write "Visit www.jwfacts.com" on all the literature. Maybe the person, who left the magazines would return and wonder, "what is jwfacts.com?"

my brother told me about my mom's assembly for january 2012 about november 2011. so did my mom and my older brother.. everybody in my family is jehovah's witness.
nobody is a chistian.. well, this week alone started on sunday: text message, "hey, getting a hotel room... (roach motel: the society has soooo much control over the cult dummies that all that follow this crap stay in the most lowly, bug-infested establishments because you need to humble yourself for when armageddon comes.... bull sh**!!!
) ...so, you and the kids can come to swim in the roach motel pool and get a free roach motel dinner.
@ itscrap&theyknowit!, I wish that more JW women had your attitude!! If I was a JW man, I would be scared . . .
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

i need to speak to anyone who is a mature christian.
someone who has maintained their faith in jehovah and in christ jesus.
i have felt that many things i have been taught are inconsistent for some time.
Welcome (((((jojojunfan))))). I like your thread's title. How about reading Raymond Franz's books (i.e., "Crisis of Conscience" and "In Search of Christian Freedom") for insight? Also, keep on posting about your feelings. No one on this site will shun you as long as you treat everyone with respect and write about your feelings and do not recite WTBTS slogans and platitudes.
Here is a video of Raymond Franz that you can view.

i was having coffee at a starbucks located in a supermarket chain in one of the towns i work in my business .
while sitting there doing paperwork , what looked like 3 elders on their field service break sat at a table no more than 4 feet from me .
after eavesdropping it was obvious they were elders as they were talking about the c.o.
00DAD - I've come to appreciate that the WT's SHUNNING POLICY has less to do with the individual than it does about keeping "the faithful" in line through fear and intimidation. Kind of like the purpose of public executions in the past.
00DAD's comment makes me wonder if a good way to plant a seed of doubt in JWs would be to engage JWs in discussing their shunning policy, ask them is it to help the Df'ed JW or to control the behaviors of active JWs, and then say that the WTBTS sounds more like a DANGEROUS cult the more you learn about how it treats its members.

Great work flipper!!! I loved your counter point to the sister's analogy. I also thought it was very interesting that the sister was able to lie about JWs shunning relatives like your niece. To paraphase Chris Rock, "JWs tell the biggest lies and lie the most!"

court case against the wt in belgium.
you may recall that sometime ago i posted an information about it.. jacques lejeunes case, ex jw, who had won an appeal against the adverse second level judgment, will be heard for the last time in front of the mons court on october 18th.. this case is emblematic as it is the first time that the violation of human right against the wt will be heard.. jacques is determined to go to the european court of human rights if this last case will end up in favor of the wt.. whoever wants to join me in attending the trial in support of jacques is welcome.. believe that jacques deserves this support.. the case will be heard on october 18th at 2 p.m. and is planned to last 4 hours.
both jacques and the wt have already presented their memorandum which is available online on my website, but in french only.
Thanks Nick! for the information. I'm surprised that the Belgium law became less restrictive in 2007. Usually laws concerning discrimination become more restrictive with time. I look forward to your update after talking with Jacques Lejeune.

http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/english_wikipedia_anti-sopa_blackout.
today, the wikipedia community announced its decision to black out the english-language wikipedia for 24 hours, worldwide, beginning at 05:00 utc on wednesday, january 18 (you can read statement from the wikimedia foundation here).
the blackout is a protest against proposed legislation in the united states the stop online piracy act (sopa) in the u.s. house of representatives, and the protectip act (pipa) in the u.s. senate that, if passed, would seriously damage the free and open internet, including wikipedia.. this will be the first time the english wikipedia has ever staged a public protest of this nature, and its a decision that wasnt lightly made.
Thank Knowsnothing for this thread. I wrote to my USA representatives the following email. It helped to have the links in this thread and in wikipedia to locate the bill(s).

Email to my Representative -
I respectfully request that you do not support, nor vote for H.R.3261.IH, "Stop Online Piracy Act", because it puts burdensome demands on some businesses for the benefit of other businesses. Why should internet companies that provide search engine or advertizing services be forced to pay for piracy protection measures that benefit companies that profit from selling music, pictures, and literature?
Companies that profit from selling music, pictures, and literature should pay for developing and implementating anti-piracy technologies and not lobby the Federal government to force other companies to pay to protect their interests.
Respectfully,
Robert
i am exploring a class action lawsuit against the wts at the moment.
i have been in touch with other attorneys on this matter and at the moment i haven't found anyone to take the case just yet.
i want to pursue a class action lawsuit against the wts.
I wish you the best Igot2bme with forming a class action lawsuit against the WTBTS. If you are in the USA, have you thought about sending a letter to the ACLU or a prominent Law School to see who/what they might recommend?
Although the Supreme Court recently ruled that the court will not judge churchs when they terminate ministers, I don't believe that people have tried to sue the WTBTS for promoting discrimination, libel (slander if spoken), and/or child endangerment (i.e., parents refusing whole blood transfusions for thier children, and advising victums/parent's of victums not to submit police reports).

@ Nick!. Do you know whether the Belgium Court made a decision and what it was concerning Jacques Lejeune’s case?

while researching tax exempt status of organizations in the usa for my next legislative letter writing campaign against the wtbts, i found this letter from charles w. boustany, jr, oversight subcommittee - chairman to douglas h. shulman, commissioner - internal revenue service, which was dated october 6, 2011. it just made me wonder if aarp's tax exempt status could be in jeopardy because of its business practises, why can't the wtbts' business practise of extracting donations from jws through building and selling khs be questioned?.
i'm trying to discover if now is a good time to raise eliminating tax exemptions for organizations that are dangerous cults, and to think of several different ideas in which to ask congressman and senators to investigate the wtbts in specific and cults in general.. what do you think?.
peace be with you and everyone, who you love,.
Hi and @ FatFreek 2005 (Len Miller), It would be fantastic if members of JWN would write posts (or add links to other information) to this thread about all the dirty secrets of the WTBTS that they personally observed. Everything from JWs suffering from psychosomatic illnesses because they were raised JWs to JWs paying off loans to the WTBTS to build KHs and the GB retaining ownership of the KHs, to JWs losing their jobs from JW employers after they are Df'ed/DA'ed, to JWs molesting children, to JWs endangering the lives of unbaptized children because of prohibitions to except whole blood transfusions, to perjury, to dumping toxic chemical, to elders pressuring victums not to report crimes to police, etc.
I believe that there are enough stories about how dangerous that cults like the WTBTS, Scientology, the Unification Church, etc are to society to convince a Congressional inquiry that dangerous cults should not be given tax exempt status. In a speech to the Australian Senate on 17 November 2009, Senator Xenophon labelled the Church of Scientology as a criminal organisation, making allegations of members experiencing blackmail, torture and violence, labour camps and forced imprisonment, and coerced abortions, echoing other criticisms of Scientology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Xenophon). I'm sure after reading JWN members' posts that the WTBTS has its own dirty stories.
@ diamondiiz, I have no problems if all religions were taxed except on that amount of money that is spent to pay for the costs of food, shelter, and jobs training to help people in need. However would it be easier to convince politicians to stop supporting all religions or only dangerous cults? I chose to be selective in how I expend my energy. My objective in lobbying politicians for tax reform is to influence dangerous cults to stop using BITE control techniques to control their members.
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,
Robert
