Final post I can't come to this forum anymore!
by hoser ini have come to the conclusion that posting here and visiting this site is not healthy for me anymore.
i just get angry and upset when i read all the stories of injustice and corruption that go on in the jehovahs witness religion.
they are true no doubt, as i have personally experienced many injustices and abuses in my life from being a witness.

Most Damning Publication?
by Wild_Thing inof all of the watchtower's many publications dating now to all the way back to russell, which one publication is the most damning in showing they are a complete crachpot of a religion?
and i course, i mean which original publication before they changed a few words and reprinted!.
personally, i think it is probably russell's the divine plan of the ages.

My Story
by objectivetruth ini'm 30 years old, and i was raised in the organization, my parents and grandparents are witnesses.. i grew up in a small town, and due to boredom or adhd or rebellion, i never took 2 minutes to look into the religion.. i always went to meetings and field service.
my parents were regular, but never "super-witnesses" so it was always the thing we did (meetings and service) not much more and nothing less.. the congregation, that i grew up in was for the most part friendly and enjoyable.. small towns, are very unique and they cannot be compared to larger city congregations.. i honk that they are a living and breathing organism, depending on the coordinators personality, so goes the personality of the congregation.
thi king back, most of the people in the town that i grew up were good people, just simple hard working & honest people... i really long for the innocence, of the time when this was the truth, and there were no worries.. driving to the conventions at 3 am with my dad and another brother, them slicing meat, me sneaking around the halls of the college, getting into all kinds of things.. conventions were a really special time for me... when i was young me and my friends would run around, messing around, pulling pranks on people, getting into forbidden areas.. running in the hall ways.

Today's wt study! Notice the faults?
by stuckinarut2 indid we all notice the way in which this weeks wt study (how to maintain a positive viewpoint) was all about keeping the flock positive even if they feel they are not doing enough in 'service'?.
the irony is that the very reason they feel stressed or worthless is because of the pressures the org puts on them to perform!!!.

Sheep and Goats
Shepherds in ancient Israel likely worked with, among others, the broadtail Syrian variety of sheep, which have large fatty tails and a thick fleece. The rams of this breed are horned, and the ewes are not. These docile animals are easily led and completely at the mercy of their environment and predators.
Shepherds also cared for goats. The goats were uniformly black or brown. Their long, flapping ears easily got torn on thorns and briar bushes as they clambered on rocky hillsides and grazed on shrubbery.
The shepherd faced the ongoing challenge of teaching the sheep and goats to obey his commands. Even so, good shepherds took tender care of the animals in their charge, even giving them names to which they would respond.—John 10:14, 16.

Well, I finally got the pic on here hahah.. * When a sheep is sheared (hair cut) there is still short wool still on the skin! This shepard, depicting jehovahs kindly shepards, :-( is actually SKINNING the sheep! Watchtower is laughing at us! They put this pic right under our noses....knowing full well most jdubs are so programmed they will not even notice! Do we wonder why talks at meetings are so depressing! So much blasted double talk ...it is making them sick! clarity

You are dead on, the sheep are being skinned alive!
The watchtower even has the nerve to make a brag
about what they are really doing!
The November 1 2012 watchtower (public edition) on
page 27 this is 'hidden in plain view'.
You will see a 'shepard' shearing a 'sheep' ...look again...
you can easily see, he is not shearing the wool...... that
sheep is getting skinned alive! You can see he is tearing
at the wool & pulling the "skin" right off the poor bloody sheep!
