left and now lost

im luke warm and dont know what side im on, i dont mix well and i dont want to be worldly if u know what i mean,im a good person with morals and nowadays thers not many of us left., not were i live anyways,its so hard leaving it behind cos now i duno what to do with myself, and i dont want to go out and live it up or go on face book or go meet loads a worldly people and be like everyone else, and i dont wana celebrate pagan hols even thoe i might do xmas i still feel weird doing that.i dont feel right with myself one bit..

You add the nice people you know & dont bother with the ones that you dont! You all share pictures of fun things you have done & tell your friends a little about your day. Nothing much different to this forum so Im not sure what the difference is.... Im not saying get facebook, but to think about the ways you are isolating yourself. If you are a believer in God then he wants you to Love others as you would love yourself. This would mean that you would share your lovelyness with others & they themselves would do likewise.

You need to re-evaluate the JW term wordly people...

Just because someone is no longer a JW it doesnt mean they automatically are going to start smoking, heavily drinking, and engage in loose conduct. Its only the JW's themselves that would have you believe that. Just like you being no longer JW then your now classed as worldly, but I doubt you are about to run around causing a storm, living it up as though your living for today as tomorrow you will die (just as in the days of Noah !!!).

No doubt you will still live a clean cut life and that is great, but in all honesty this will mean that you are no different to the average worldly citizen.... Its only the minority of people who are stark raving bonkers, & its fair to say that there are plenty of raving lunatics in the JW's so its better that your actually further away from them than those in the real world. You probably need to get out to meet normal people who also want whats best for their families and simply enjoy the simple things like going bowling, the cinema or Pizzahut/meals. Nothing wrong with that, this would be what normal (worldly) people do....

A Possible Reason Why Some Want To Be Jehovah's Witnesses

i think some want to be witnesses even if they know some of the teachings and views are questionable because they feel special!.

if they get a "privilege" or are allowed to pioneer or allowed to preach from house to house and be "ministers", they feel like they are somebody.. what do you think?

I totally agree. When I joined I used to love seeing people shock when I told them I was JW. They would look at me and never believe I was JW. I used there shock and harnessed there interest and would promptly preach them to death (I'm Gagging) . I felt so special, highly intelligent and better than everyone else in the world, because I felt like I knew it all. All those in the world were sooo stupid because they just couldnt see anything, they were so blinded by Satan and brainlessly stupid.... Because I was soo far up myself unfortunately I didnt think there was anything questionable about the JW's. They were the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....

WHAT A TOTAL KNOB HEAD I WAS .........................AARRRRRGHHHHHHH

Holding my head in TOTAL shame.....

How in the hell did I ever see the Real light and find out the Real Truth ??? I really dont know how, but I did.... !!!!

On the subject lisaBObeesa I wish to god that an ex JW would have spoken to me when I was 17 and stopped me joining. I joined on my own without my parents being JW's. (Mother joined after I converted her, the rest of my family aunt / uncle etc were JW's)

My parents thought it was a good thing for me to follow God as it would keep me on the straight & narrow. How wrong they were.... Find a way, tell these guys, DO NOT let them lead a life of misery being emotionally trapped....

Im half way out, the grand finale will be when I get myself happily disfellowshipped because of a Santa on the front lawn, big fat and bobbing around in its fullest glory !!!!

The Downs lad I knew even got baptised !!! Now that is whats sick. How in the hell could he think logically, when he is incapable of reasoning on even normal day to day things in life......

A young brother I knew suffered with Aspergers Syndrome pretty badly too and when he got involved in wrongdoing he was disfellowshipped. Totally screwed him up because he just couldnt understand. That was criminal... He has now got himself reinstated purely to stay in contact with family and for them to help him because he is incapable of looking after himself...

I had lived under the radar for 1 year now, when I first came out I was still scared to death of Armaggedon, but after too researching JW historys like we were never allowed to do, I now know that I have wasted 21 years of my life to them. They caught me just at 17 years old and I immediately believed everything they said and I lived in total fear.

Now I have woken up, I totally dont fear Armaggedon. This is not to say I dont fear death because I do (not being dead but dying) but then I'd say im not different to the average person with this.

When I saw just how many times they had changed their understanding of the generation prophecy that was it for me:Put this into your web browser & you will what I mean about all there changes...

If you are 15 years old as you say you are, then I would say live your life, grab it by both hands and dont let go. Run as far away from the JW's as you possibly can before it destroys your emotionally.

(My daughter is now 16 years old. She had always been brought up a JW and has had to spend the past 12 months seeing a Counsellor along with a Psychiratrist....Thankfully she is now well on the mend and living life to the max with loads of worldly friends....)

Pocahontas has spirits & demons in it and other gods that they worshipped .... Similar reasons as to why JW's arent meant to watch Avatar today !!!!

The elder I knew of LOVED Last of the Mohicans !!!!! Now how he got away with that I DO not know....

I went to watch Pocahontus and was made to feel embarrassed for watching it all the way through as other sisters had got up and walked out ! I learnt to keep my mouth shut regarding which films we watched....

A sister I know only ever watches films with a U rating. She has never watched anything else with a higher rating as she considers it to be inappropriate !
