well, i know its a bit self-serving since i allready posted this in jwfacts thread http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/199939/1/watchtower-images-required, but i think its quite funny and things have been kind of serious around here for the past couple of weeks.. it seem to me that when jahs chanel have desided (im kidding, they has been told) the one and true god really hate christmas and will kill you in nasty ways if you go ahead and celebrate it, it provide a pretty compelling case for not celebrating christmas.
but the governing body can make an even stronger case than that: not only will jesus cry and clice you up if you celebrate christmas, you will also have a really bad time.

Glad you found us here, your story is sad yet you are very fortunate in having such a great husband. Lean on him, as he has not been brainwashed by this cult and can help you see strait when you think you are disobeying God or having major guilt feelings.
I have JW family members still in and they are like your mother, man it's so hard talking logically to them. I have ordered Steven Hassan's book 'Combatting Cut Mind Control'. I look forward to reading it and helping myself more and my trapped family members.
Like others have said, take your time and don't rush into things. You have a lot to learn about this dangerous cult.

The New World Order & the WT New System are very similar.

I do not know if these stones are really connected to the 'new world order' but they sure make me think of the WT version of the new system...

Aahhh I hated singing those crappy 'Kingdom Melodies' made me feel like I was part of a dorky church group!

i was disfellowshipped on january 28th 2010 after an "interview" about an evening of bowling with friends and family back in november 2009. i was among 4 who were disfellowshipped and 6 who were publicly reproved.

I felt your pain, felt sick too hearing the way you were treated. Like others have stated, this is a wake up call for you, to see the real way this org works.
