The letter re: coil binding the elder book
by booby ini think if an (intelligent) questioning jw was able to read the letter about coil binding the book the impact could/should be greater.
this letter should be an embarrassment to the gb.
what blatant and stupid instructions sent to a large group of men who are supposed to be available to instruct in an intelligent way persons coming with an assortment of life's problems.

This religion cult has a lot to answer for. I am so happy you guys have left this cancerous cult and your children will have a normal upbringing without all the guilt & shit that comes with this stupid so called religion.

Why did we all take the NWT at face value?
by sabastious inwhy didn't we ever care about checking whether or not the nwt was "the most reliable bible on the planet.
" such an audacious claim and it didn't spark much investigations.. (not saying no one did check it, just seems the vast majority never did, at least not for a long time).. so here we all were, with this unverified and propietary bible using it as the word of god to teach about the meaning of life?.

"out the mouth of babes " my six year olds opinion of shunning !
by looloo inwalking back from town today we saw two old ladys and i said "good morning" my child said " are those ladys the ones in that religion that come and talk to you about something but i dont know what ?
" i said they were not but she started to ask about grandma again(jw grandma that has not visited for 18 months , her disfellowshipped dads mother .
) it was quite difficult to answer some of her questions and i told her daddy and i dont want to be in the religion because they dont let you see your family who leave the religion (amongst other reasons !

Yes you can, just like you can "quote" ANYTHING that is copyrighted. You are just "quoting".
If you were to place that quote in a book which you are going distribute or sell, then you would need permission from the copyright holder.

For me jumping from one religion to another one would be as:
I believe that a lot of ex-JWs never join another religion.
I believe we wake up to what religion is all about and therefore don't want anything to do with religion again. (a positive in my eyes)
Although I've always liked the way many churches look with the (stained glass, etc). Growing up our KH was so ugly and boring to look at.
So true, I've been inside different Churches (sightseeing) around the world and found most of them absolutely stunning! Kingdum Hells are as boring as the crap the Watchtower prints.
