  Do You Hate The Jehovah's Witness Religion?

  i see some here who seem to despise the religion.

  others seem to feel that witnesses are wacky but they don't hate them.. do you hate this religion?.

  YES!!!! I hate this religion! (not the people)

  Hate is one of our emotions. You can not deny it. There are things in this world that should be hated and the WT$ is a perfect example of something to hate & I sure do hate the WT$!

  Countless people have died due to it's murderous blood/organ doctrine. Many more have lost family/friends over the cruel shunning practice. Breaks up families. Hides & protects child molesters so as not to defame the JW name. Most (if not all) of the R&F are walking around waiting for Armageddon & wasting their lives serving this billion $ printing religion.

  july 2010), the tetragrammaton (yhwh) is drawn in the triangle.. but when looking carefully, a part of those hebrew is different.. .

  i'll start off.. i don't believe anything is divine about bible writings.

  i believe there may be some marginal history although not much.

  i think alot of folk tales and regional myths are contained in the old testament.

  here we go: my parents learned the truth when i was 4 and i don't have childhood memories of how life was before they converted.

  I would turn that around and back at him, I would write something like "even more of a reason to put your beliefs to the test, blablabla last thing you want is Jesus saying at armageddon that he does not know you" then quote some bible verses, its best to be in the same frequency even if you don't believe in a God/s.

  I agree with Joey You need to quote some bible verses even if it is not what you believe anymore. I don't believe in the bible, yet to help others open their eyes, I quote it quite a lot to show how wrong the WTS has it.

  Sooner7nc maybe you can quote 1 John 4:1 and tell him that's what you have done and your conscience didn't allow you to follow such a false prophet anymore.

  (1 John 4:1) Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

  Same old same old really... One thing that's new (apart from the new secret Elders book) is the 'overlapping generation'. Another change to the Generation Doctrine. It never ends....

  The Watchtower (Study Edition), April 15th, 2010 Issue, Pages 27-29:
  
  "This magazine has long been used by “the faithful and discreet slave” as the primary channel for dispensing increased light. ... What does this explanation mean to us? Although we cannot measure the exact length of “this generation,” we do well to keep in mind several things about the word “generation”: It usually refers to people of varying ages whose lives overlap during a particular time period; it is not excessively long; and it has an end. (Ex. 1:6) How, then, are we to understand Jesus’ words about “this generation”?   Is there a biblical 1914?

  i have noticed that people that hold no faith in the bible can easily find reasons not to believe it is god's word.

  likewise, i have found that when one does hold faith in the bible they can continue to believe it against any contrary evidence.

  the torah not being written by moses is not a big deal to some, neither are the two creation accounts in genises.

    The common defense here is that "we are saved by faith and works." But Paul said "not of works."

  • I Peter 2:12 "Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that . . . they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation."

    Pro-slavery bible verses were cited by many churches in the South during the Civil War, and were used by some theologians in the Dutch Reformed Church to justify apartheid in South Africa. There are more pro-slavery verses than cited here.

  Does God change his mind?

  • Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord; I change not."
  • Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent."

  Are we punished for our parents' sins?

    It does no good to claim that "Let us" is the magisterial "we." Such usage implies inclusivity of all authorities under a king's leadership. Invoking the Trinity solves nothing because such an idea is more contradictory than the problem it attempts to solve.

  Are we all sinners?

  • Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
  • Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
  • Psalm 14:3 "There is none that doeth good, no, not one."

  Should we swear an oath?

  • Genesis 21:22-24,31 " . . . swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me . . . And Abraham said, I will swear. . . . Wherefore he called that place Beersheba ["well of the oath"]; because there they sware both of them."
  • Hebrews 6:13-17 "For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself . . . for men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.   When was Jesus crucified?

    It is an ad hoc defense to claim that there are two methods of reckoning time here. It has never been shown that this is the case.

  Shall we obey the law?

  • I Peter 2:13 "Submit yourself to every ordinance of man . . . to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors."
  • Matthew 22:21 "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's." See also Romans 13:1,7 and Titus 3:1.

  How many animals on the ark?

  i kinda figured i would read many negative things concerning jw, i was not disapointed............ i say if you ae not happy not just in the jw, but anywhere, life it too short move on.. .
