Hey Martin.......forgive me for being discreet here but I dont know your current standing within the Jw's. Funnily enough, I did see your name not so long ago when I was looking through the members list and I wanted to email you because I do know you but your email address is locked. The dumbest way you got caught?
by kat7302 inive done some pretty stupid things in my time but i think the prize had to go to the time i was 14, out shopping and desperate for a cigarette..... i went into a secluded cafe so there was less chance of being spotted and was relieved to find that there was only one other couple in there.
i sat down with my coffee and confidently lit up, casually asking the guy on the next table to pass the ashtray.. next week i was hauled in front of the elders for smoking and found to my dismay that the guy sat next to me was a ministerial servant who recognised me from being on the last assembly programme giving my experiences!.

Ashitaka...yep, assembly part! I was mega spiritual back then, always had experiences in school and stuff and was on the assembly programmes quite a bit! by the way, Im a dudess!

I havent seen you on here before and as your from the UK, we may well know some of the same people.
You're right, it is VERY bad and one thing that Im actually very ashamed of but I do know that there were tons of things going on within the congregation which were not entirely scriptural, it seems to be the same in every congregation which you never realise until you actually leave and get the outside looking in perspective.
Email me whenevr with your details, Id love to knwo if we have any of the same aquaintances! Im trying to think of that name and Ive come up with a couple of people it could fit!

We used to have the Tuesday group meeting at our house and I used to take money out of the contribution box to support my Nicotene,music and chocolate habit!
I actually still feel quite guilty about this so id love to find out what others have done...preferably worse so Ill feel better!
